well i made batch number 2 of banana muffins today and they are delish! hubby has requested donner kebabs again for tea tonight (only made it friday!) so the meat is in the oven cooking. Managed to get the ingredients for the red sauce not too keen on the white sauce so made pakora sauce instead and it tastes just like our local takeaway. So both sauces are chilling in the fridge.

I was wondering re:muffins can i make them with blueberries in the same way or are blueberries too juicy obviously the muffins would turn out purple-y in colour am i right? If not does anyone have a link to the muffins thread as i cant seem to find it :(

    thanks

here you go Muffins Muffins Muffins :)

EDIT ... it's a long thread, if you can't find what you want in it, I can PM you a blueberry muffin recipe

& HERE is another muffin thread with hints & tips
  • I made the southern fried chicken tonight - it was just okay.
For the money, time and mess spent on it I think I will just buy the SFC boxes you get in supermarkets in future.

Also made some of the banana muffins this morning by using up some over-ripe bananas that I had frozen a while ago. Very nice - but only got one tray rather than the two mentioned and they weren't really big either.

    Now, what next...?

I'd add some milk instead of the yogurt rather than go without

the naans might not turn out exactly the same, but you'll still get a similar result & some nice bread to go with your curry :)

  • I made the doner kebab last night and the house smelled like a kebab shop! Mmmmmm...

OH ate some of it on a roll after his work at midnight and I am buying some pitta bread for a more authentic experience tonight. Already have the yogurt and mint sauce - bought in Poundstretchers.
