Thanks for the heads up, just ordered my copy.

Last night had mixed shish kebab takeaway and ashamedly threw 2/3 of it away as there was way too much. Now I can cook my own and reduce the portion sizes accordingly.

    Cheers:beer:

hi there, what you will like about this book is that most recipes are enough for just 1 person - this means you multiply according to how many you are feeding - so simple!

the kebabs look really good - all the taste but without the need for a spit/rotisserie, oven cooked like a meat loaf

Hi Daisy, slimming world is the red day green day thing isnt it? if you want to give me an idea of the type of takeaways you like, be specific on the dishes, i'll have a look for you and see how it could be altered. to be honest most of the recipes i've read it seems the key is the spices and flavours more than anything. there's vegetarian stuff in there, and also italian etc as well as the side salads and stuff. for such a small book it really is packed! :D

for example the tandoori chicken and naan breads i did last night (which were to die for!) i used a natural pro biotic yoghurt, low fat milk and halved the amount of oil in the marinade. the naan breads i dry fried/toasted in a pan, and the tandoori chicken (no skin) is oven cooked on a wire rack in a roasting tin so any grease and fat drains away?

    :)

thanks for that - i decided to just buy it anyway :)

Mine arrived today. Have not looked through it yet. Amazon must be quiet as they delivered it quickly considering it was the free option.

Me too. Got mine for £4.43 including the postage - never fails to amaze me that new ones can be cheaper than used ones!!!

I just ordered a copy a few minutes ago and the price today is £3.93.
Dispatch estimate (1st class post!) is 23 Aug so I have selected free supersaver delivery and the dispatch date is the same. I don't mind waiting a few extra days for delivery and saving on the postage! :)

I feel robbed now! I think Amazon automatically refund price differences when price changes within a certain period. At least they used too.

I ordered mine at 6:45pm on 16th and received it today so you may be lucky.
