Its absolutely peeing it down here tonight anyway so it wouldn't do much good lol. But Dad did say that himself knowing his luck he'd be the one that would get done for soaking him.

If your Dad gets nowhere with the police, he could put the pictures on YouTube and tell one of the papers about it like the chap did this week when he took photos of youths breaking into his son's car.

We thought about that but we are unsure about the fact he has filmed the man walking down the street and not on his property. I know some people on the thread here say it's ok to do, but we are also being told that it isn't allowed. So wouldn't want to do that until we were sure.

I had thought about posting pictures through all the neighbours letterboxes in a name and shame type of way but again we are unsure about the legality of that.

I think you're right. Once two young guys decided to 'play' behind the office block where I worked...in full view of my desk about six feet from them...! When I joked with the police operator that I should perhaps throw some water over them to cool them down, she told me in no uncertain terms that I would be the one in trouble!

If it wasn't allowed, wouldn't GoogleEarth be in really bad trouble?

What about all the film crews filming busy streets and shopping areas?

What about all the private cameras filming you as you walk around the streets?

Your Dad took pictures in a public place. It's not against the law.
  • Sounds like a perfect excuss to brush up on your back hand, get a tennis bat and wait for the objects to come over and volly it back. Make sure you make the funny tennis "ahhhhh" noise when hitting it followed by "15 Love" as it goes back over.
  • Hi , there's absolutely no point in confronting this man again , he's obviously mentally !!!!!! . Bag up all the rubbish , find out where he lives and dump the rubbish back on his doorstep . If he complains , just tell him your returning his rubbish as you don't want it .

Sounds to me like the guy may have dementia or Alzheimers... a word from the local bobby might help

Post the footage on Youtube and set up a Facebook page, word may gat around he's been rumbled and you may get some local press interest. Failing that I would recommend the Jim Carey approach from "me, myself and Irene" for this man's own garden.
