I use XP3 and had this very problem initially when i clicked on the desktop link to the LG program. I overcame this by clicking on the 'Start' menu and clicking on the LG file from the 'All Programs' list, it worked fine then and opened up.

Unpack the files and look for the Powerpoint (.ppt) file for a slide guide, install the Powerpoint viewer first which is also there.

i'm on xp sp3 and i eventually got it to work and debranded it, too.

i had to play around alot. i removed everything and started again...twice. i renamed some files cos i had a feeling there were conflicts. also,the extract file kept closing....bit of a nightmare for me but got there in the end.

i opened some programs thru my computer, c drive, ks360

re last point. phone is tri band so will work in most countries eg europe,usa but not all. depends on your network and country to be visited.

i'd advise youto read the later pages of the 2nd thread too as people give good advice of the timing of removing the cable and other stuff that reduces the risk of ruining the phone, as well as making instructions easier to understand
