These phones arent bad, I have one (now unused as I have got another phone)

One thing you need to be careful of is the screen, it fits flush against the casing so any knocks or pressure can cause the screen to crack, not a major problem as you can buy a replacement screen from ebay for under £10

The OP quotes this as a Smartphone, if you buy this phone thinking its a smartphone you will be disappointed as its not.

Its a very good phone for £10 though, well done everyone that got one, just be carefull with the screen (as I learnt)
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)
  • Can someone let me know how long it takes to charge these. I luckily got one of these, thanks to the OP, but I am wondering if it is faulty. Usually when you plug in a charger you get some confirmation that the phone is charging, i.e. a beep or some lights come on, but I've plugged mine in and have got nothing. It's been charging for about 5 hours. If it is faulty I hope I can get an exchange rather than a refund.

definitely seems faulty. when you plug it in the logo lights up and then it shows a charging screen. takes 1.5 hours to charge. is the cable connected to the phone properly? sounds daft to ask but the connecting plugs on the lgs are awful and it's particularly fiddly on mine. it always seems easy to plug it in the wrong way too.

    I've been Money Tipped!
ANGELFLOWER, try charging via your laptop/pc with the usb lead. It may just be an issue with the charger. Or try another charger of course.

Thanks. I have reinserted the battery and charger several times but have had no luck, think it must be faulty. Will have to give Tesco a ring.

Thanks Lynsey. Just tried it and it didn't work. Will be ringing Tesco to see what they can do for me.
