Agree with Pigpen and Xmas - You will find someone else, someone far better and you will question if it was actually love that you felt in your other relationship.

I was on my own with 4 (0-6 years ) children for 7 years, the moment I met the OH I Knew, he's my best friend and my world. He was worth waiting for, we have a 12 month old and another due October and life couldn't get any better.. ..see anyone told you yet that you wont meet anyone?

We just think we wont but we always do. You've been through it before ..you can get through it again, its finding the right one thats all.

Funny thing is we all seem to meet toyboys..does that tell us something??? lol

you'll be fine chick a dee..we plod along thats what us women do

MV Good luck at your scan today

I've got my 34 week MW appointment today and cant wait ! I'm really struggling with itching, not on my stomach but on my arms and back and its getting me down..it always seems to be when I'm naked .. ( I know "don't get naked!!" :D ) , when I'm sleeping or even DTD ! I don't think its liver problems as I've read about that , maybe its hormonal I don't know ..I just want it to stop!

Labour vibes, pushy out vibes , happy vibes and any other vibes to all.
  • Thanks guys :)

I'm just still so scared of something going wrong..I wonder if that feeling ever goes?

Glad you're feeling some flutterings Oxo - I'm jealous of that!

Can't wait to find out if it's a boy or girl..once I see that bubs is all well and good, I'll probably be overcome with excitement!

KK sorry your sweep didn't go so well. I know I may sound a bit like pigpen but remember with all of these medical interventions the choice is still yours and please ask them what the benefits are, risks, alternatives and remember you can say NO at anytime to them. So if they want to put you on a drip and you don't want to, them say it in an assertive manner (not aggresive!!). Is one thing I learnt from my NCT class yesterday. I am being induced with a 24 hour pessary after which they may want to break my waters/put me on a drip etc but I will only do these things after I have thought about all of these things - it may be worth doing some research on the internet. . .
I think I would have ended up on a drip with DD2 if I hadn't been so adamant everytime they mentioned it that I didn't want one... In the end they bought a registrar in to talk to me about it but the best I would do was agree to review the situation in 3 hours... She was delivered 1hr 45mins later... So absolutely stick to your guns if you feel strongly about something! :)

Good luck for today MV, enjoy every minute of it! :D

Emsy, I agree with the others... I was on my own with DD1 for over 3 years but as soon as I got together with Hubby I knew he was the one I would be spending forever with... Within 3 months of being together we'd booked the church... I was 7 weeks pregnant with DD2 when we got married and now number 3 is on the way... He is my best friend and completely overshadows any other relationship I've ever had! :)

Oh, and he's younger than me lol... Only by 14 months, but still... ;)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Emsy - what PP and the other's said above.

Hang on in there chuck...bet there's a fab bloke waiting for you around the corner, it's just a case of when you'll bump into him. And you have your beautiful DD and a gorgeous new bub to look forward to :)

Well I am 20 weeks today. I really can't believe it! Got my scan at 3pm, so please send me good vibes as I'm so nervous.

I looked at my hospital notes this morning and apparently I have an 'anterior placenta'..I'm sure someone mentioned that, that could be a reason why I haven't felt anything yet..?

Thinking of you today good luck for the scan xoxo

Emsy i agree with PP you are amazing & beautiful. My ex hubby left me when I was 3 months PG with DD and then as he never wanted kids had the op when she was one month old. I never ever thought I would have any more children but when I kicked him out nearly 3 years ago I met my soul mate and the rest is history. xoxo

  • Good luck MV I'm sure everything will be fine, but is only natural to worry then worry more throughout pregnancy and then with kids, isn't that mums do??

(((hugs))) to emsy, haven't been in that situation but from what you have said re your ex it def sounds better on your own for the moment - hope you have a good support network near you xx

Got hosp appointment this morning to check b/p, bubs etc just hope everything is OK - not worried about bubs as is usual active self but just hope b/p is down and urine is clear. Good luck anyone else with medical appointments . . .
