I think I have just really hurt myself - I felt like a snap in my pelvic area and don't know what it is but it hurts and its sore to walk :(:( Is it possible to have snapped/torn a ligament there?

Your ligaments can "snap" and "flick", it can be quite uncomfortable, but if you are remotely concerned speak to your physio if you are being treated by one or your MW. They can either reassure you its nothing or get you in to have look.

I think will need to see how it is in an hour or so. managed to get myself to sofa but am dreading standing and trying to move again right now :( not got a physio so will speak to mw if need be. just hope I haven't done any damage to make labour more painful. sorry for the moan, just feeling so stupid for managing to do something I shouldn't have which has hurt me/baby and probably gonna have a crap day now too....

Thank you, all of you, for your kind words. :o

I know that we are all totally involved in our pregnancies and to have such a supportive board of wonderful women like this really makes a difference, certainly to me :D

Feeling brighter after some sleep, not totally shaken the feeling off, but another day another kicking from bubs :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • Hugs Don...take it easy hon, is your OH about to look after you?

    That sounds really painful :(

I had some stabbing pains in my groin yesterday. I think they may have been round ligament pains, but it's really scary when you suddenly get a shooting pain.
Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,
You don't even take him seriously,
How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..

thank you MV - he is at work until 2pm so its just me and the the boys just now. Its my own fault - I am annoyed at myself really. I wanted to get all baby clothes washed and put away today and it doesn't seem like that will happen now.

Going to try move in a minute and if I can stand it, will go up and get OH's gym ball from upstairs and sit on it for a while perhaps.

  • Can he maybe come home a bit earlier? Don't strain yourself hon, take it really easy.
