Just came to pop in to say congratulations for getting your thread back
4 - the only thing I found that helped was to know my limits and not push my luck. So I only walked to the car, then from the car into work, and had to get someone else to get my lunch for me, send dh to do the shopping etc... fine when you are on number one, but not as easy when you've already got littlies to run around after.Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Can i ask you ladies are any of you under physio for SPD i'm suffering terribley this time around but the therapy doesnt seem to be helping at all. Any real life tips that could be of help would be appreciated.
As ladybird said know your limits. I start to get a twinge almost like a muscle spasm just before things are going to get sore so I know to sit down asap.
Physio told me to take 1 step at a time going upstairs, try to use a back pack on both shoulders rather than a one shoulder bag like a handbag or similar, try not to lift anything that may cause a strain (I have been told to be careful lifting DD) keep knees together as much as possible including getting out of the car, sit on the edge of the bed to put knickers, trousers, socks and shoes on, try not to shift your weight between feet try and stay centered (IYKWIM), sleep with a pillow between knees to help keep pelvis in a better position.

Yay it's back - thank goodness for that I missed you all as I didn't know where you had all gone
Have made use of the past two days. Firstly I picked up my free changing bag from Boots, used the £3 voucher for Pampers that they sent me to and got a pack of newborn Pampers plus the bag for the grand total of 74p :j
Then this evening OH and I went back to Mamas and Papas to look at prams again. We originally wanted to look at the Sola again but in the end tried the M & P Zoom and both fell in love with it. It was on special offer so we ended up biting the bullet and buying it  It feels very real now we've brought a pram - it was out of stock so we have to wait for another delivery but they reckon it will arrive around the middle of December but it's not like we are in any hurry for it.
So thats another thing ticked off the list :T picking up our crib tomorrow tooOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170
