I am incredibly broody, but since we still don't have a bedroom for the 15 month old and she sleeps in our room and stores her clothes in the living room the only way we'd fit a second in is if I hung a hammock for it from the ceiling and dressed it in Miss M's clothes. Other people's tiny babies might make me feel a bit better!

I've been lurking in this thread this week because since being a pregnant lady and remembering the sorts of intimate things I discussed on this thread I feel a bit protective of the environment and want to make sure that mummies-to-be have as safe and helpful a virtual environment as I did when I was a massive heavy bump on legs waddling about and wishing there were no tiny feet in my bladder - and after, when they get their Official Mum Tums and are never quite the same again.

Not ever having been in your boat, no idea if this is a good idea or not, but I'd spend some time pampering myself as I imgaine you won't get much chance to do it once the babba arrives!! Face mask, long soak in the bath, paint nails (and toes if you can still reach :D), good old moisture, hair mask etc.

Enjoy the peace and quiet too, I'd imagine. :D

    xDx

  • Just make the most of your time, thats all I can suggest. Have some nice bubble baths, get some magazines. Any friends you can visit for a cuppa and gossip?

Give yourself as much 'me time' as you can.

Fine plans ladies, been pampering myself for a week thinking it might be the last day! I am at risk of looking like a poodle :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Always good to have another bubbly bath though :p

  • Sorting out photos. You always tell yourself you'll do it once the baby is born, but it never gets done. Sort out your photos. :) Can I just say as well, emsywoo, that I am full of admiration for the way you've gotten on with things, especially after the problems at the beginning of your pregnancy with the exOH and getting rid of the dog, and starting your business. Well done, and I hope the birth goes well and you have an easy time of it. x
