Well I might have missed last night's high drama on here and then all the gatecrashing by the "parents" but at least I haven't missed any births!!!

I think we're due a couple of c-sec notices in the next few days (Pukkamum & Merfe) and surely one of you "bold" ladies has got to set off a birthing chain soon.

Has anyone heard anything from Pawpurrs?

Had a 31 week MW appointment today (I get a different MW each time - happily I haven't come across any like yours MV, she sounds vile). BP fine, measuring spot on size-wise, but they're sending my urine off to the labs as there were traces of nitrates and sugar - so have to wait and see what (if anything) this uncovers.

Just wanted to say a big thanks to those of you who were advising me on lotions & potions for chicken pox yesterday. I got the Piriton liquid & the aqueous cream with calamine lotion. Seems to be working a treat up to now so big thanks ladies

I've had a scan today & I am 13+1 with a due date of 17th May - Please can I be added to the list!?

All is well & the consultant has advised me to go for a VBAC & if we have any problems we will then opt for a section. I have to admit to feeling slightly terrified! Lol! I never even got near to the pushing part with Ruby. 55 hr labour & I only got to 5-6cm dilated. Oh well I have months to prepare I suppose.:eek:

Just a quickie to say just got back from mw and we have a heartbeat :j. Was a horse this time so think bubs has changed gender in last 4 weeks. 1st time OH heard the heartbeat and he was overwhelmed. Anyway, it obviously set something off in him cos after we went to town and called into a jewellers to pick something for a friend and he guided me to engagement rings, i tried them on and everything :T. He has a clear idea of what I like and knows my size now. Very chuffed lady today bit must not get hopes up, god knows when/how/if he'll ask me.

Off to the pub later for the footy so will catch up with you ladies tomorrow

Ooh congrats on team pink sammy, as much as I'm determined to stay team yellow I'm jealous you know the flavour xx

Woo, you have DD2's original due date Hope your baby is a touch more timely that mine though... She didn't arrived until the 26th :rotfl:

Very exciting Dusty!! :D (I knew when Hubby was going to propose, he can't keep a secret to save his life... Plus we'd already booked the church :rotfl:But the ring was a surprise and I love it!)

Oh wow, I have a really random really strong craving for a crusty cob with cheese and onion on... We have no cheese, onion, or indeed, crusty cobs... And I know that 1 bite would be enough to give me wicked heartburn and repeat on me all night (plus I have a driving lesson tonight, it wouldn't be fair on my instructor lol)

M-it-3 - so has your EDD gone back a bit? I thought we were due within a day or so of each other? Mind you it's only 4 days difference now.

Ugh had a thoroughly boring afternoon, so going to start packing up and heading off on my marathon commute home..sigh.

Got yoga tonight though which will help loosen me up a bit
