LL - aww Molly is so adorable, well done you.
Cutterby - I am 17 weeks and OH bought me one of those pillows and is great, is really comfy to sleep on.
Just a questions to anyone who could help. I woke up last Tuesday night and last night with a bad back pain that sort of went all the way round but was mostly in my back. I am 17 weeks now, has anyone had anything like that. Just wondering if I have been sleeping funny?0 -
Thanks for the pics LL, it seems like ages since we had any and she's just loverly:)AKA: PC

Hi Peeps
I logged on briefly this morning and was just a bit confused by all the goings on.
Legs, Molly is gorgeousYay cute baby pics (finally) hint hint for those who are about to pop lol!
Dusty, yay for finally feeling something!! Am sure it is bubs, has realised you are worried about him and decided to make his presence knownMine started out as just weird feeling, and is getting weirder as I seem to have a little wriggler!
Twoflower am thinking of you xx
PrincessCoupon, I meant to reply to you yesterday but got distracted by something!! Thank you for the prediction, I am really amused that I come across as girly in my posts, but yes I am fairly girlyI got all emotional for a minute there!
Still got loads of crazyness going on, house has not fallen down yet but we're a bit worried some of the floor will... Neighbour knocked on the door last night and had a huge go at OH for using drill at 6.15pm, and for the fact that we'd had workmen in the day before when he'd not been able to go to work (we'd told him they were going to be there, unfortunately they ran over by a day which coincided with a day he couldn't work due to the weather). We are both so stressed and upset, neighbour seems to think we are doing things deliberately to annoy him, which of course we're not, its just that things need doing to the house - we had the same thing about a month ago (but that time we were working a bit later, not massively noisily but it was most nights) so we had made the effort, told him what we were doing and stopped making noise by 7 every night (as recommended by council) and had a lot more DIY free evenings in the week. We'd got on with him pretty well up to that point and had recovered things, but now we are back to square one, although I don't think we are in the wrong this time.
I'm now massively worried what they'll be like when they hear the baby crying, they don't have kids, he seems to hear every noise, obviously I will be doing my best to look after baby so it doesn't cry but its bound to make some noise... The joys of living in a semi...0 -
I transferred some clubcard vouchers for double up ones on baby & toddler. Gutted to find out you have to wait for the new codes in the post! Now I'm paranoid that the things I want to get might be out of stock by the time I get them. Decided upon a moses basket and changing mat. But OH staff discount comes off so I need to spend another £6. Not sure what to get. The muslin cloths put me just below the £80 and it says it has to be above the value of the clubcard vouchers.
Just received my clubcard vouchers today and was wanting to double them to get my daughter an Angelcare Baby Monitor. Can I not go to customer services desk and exchange them for double the points and get the monitor at the same time. Only we live quite a distance from our Tesco's.0 -

Your neighbour sounds really unreasonable. DIY at 6pm is fairly normal if you and hubby work. Im sure if my neighbour was doing loads I might be a bit miffed if I couldnt hear Eastenders but id accept it as people have to do stuff to their houses.
And as for the baby, if hes says one thing about the baby crying id tell him to bogoff!! You cannot help it if your baby cries, they all do.
Do you hear his noise too? Id make a point of telling him that you can hear him doing certain things.
Its hard to keep on good terms with a neighbour when they are unreasonable, mine is awful, he goes outside and swears at his grass! hes so angry all the time. He said he was going to kill my cat if it walked through his garden again.
thankfully I rent and im leaving soon. I feel for those who buy their houses and have to put up with moany neighbours.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Cutterby I keep considering getting one of those body pillows, am finding myself spending most of the night turning to try and get comfy and the small cushion I was using doesn’t seem to be doing as good a job now I’m getting a bit biggerKrystaltips wrote: »Fairy, I meant to say yesterday, don't worry about your obstetrics appointment... Chances are they won't mention your weight at all... I'm way more than a couple of points over the upper bmi level and nobody has gone on at me, they also haven't weighed me since booking in so they wouldn't know how much weight I've put on either
Thanks for your response - Turns out the main reason I’d been referred was not because of my BMI but because of the question over my possible allergy to Suxemethonium which is the drug they use when giving a General Anaesthetic. My sister is allergic to it and when I’d had my ERPC I had to mention there is a chance I may be too and they said I needed to get tested for it but as yet I haven’t been so it’s still unknown whether it is safe to use it on me. So they have had to put an alert sticker in my notes in case I need a general so they know to use something else on me.
Other than that all was well, urine was fine, BP was normal, they listened to the heartbeat and even let me record it on my phone :j
They want me to go back in 8 weeks once to take a GTT test and then two days later for another routine check up at the Obstretrics department - thats going to be a busy week
After talking to OH last night I think we have a clear contender for a travel system now - we are seriously considering the Mamas and Papas Sola. Have told OH I want to go back with some heavy books to test it - thanks for that tip!
Have also brought a crib off Ebay today - £25 and it's local so I can pick it up. Need to get a new mattress but I don't think they are that expensive for cribs anyway - that'll be one thing ticked off the listOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
Ooh, Fairy let me know how you get on with the Sola and the books (great plan) I don't think we'll get back to M&Ps for a couple of months now so would be interested to hear how it seems, I was really impressed with it initially!0

I don't think I'm having a baby, I think I am just fat (ter than normal!!).0

Back from my scan and we are....................TEAM PINK
In a bit of shock tbh, as we really thought we were having a boy!! But we're very happy and bought a book of baby names to start ploughing through
Yay for Team Pink!!!0 -

I will doWe tried both the Sola and the Pliko Pramette when we went in and although I prefered the overall look of the Pliko I have to admit the Sola seemed much easier to handle and felt a lot lighter when we were pushing it around - OH also liked the Sola the most out of the two.
I have done a bit of research on the internet and I haven't found anyone who hasn't really liked it who has brought one which is a good sign
