YIPEE Finally made it out of hospital
Went in on wednesday to see consultant HE SAID YES TO MY SECTION :j:T:j
But when I had my check up my blood pressure was sky high & I had loads of white blood cells in my water works & protienSo they kept me in  Ended up in there from wednesday until dinner time today.
Things got worse as my heart rate is now very high and ended up hooked up to an ECG and loosing all sensation on my left sideIt was so scary.
I am now home having contractions with hot flushes every 10 mins and a huge bag full of drugs which includes injections that DH has to give me everyday until Little Miss bump arrives.
So glad to be home
Congrats LL welcome to Molly

wow tinks what an ordeal, do they think its pre-eclampsia? Hope you are feeling a bit better, doesn't sound like it'll be much longer for you either. Did he give you a date for the section or just gonna see how it goes for now?0

Thanks Honey
When I said that DH was a vet and could inject me my consultant said as long as he didn't do it in the scruff on my neck :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:If you can think it........it will happen0 -
Hi all!
Have been a-lurking, but not able to catch up on all.......
Congrats to Ladylegs!!
I thought I would share a funny visit from earlier this week. Went to visit OH's aunt who is almost 80. She asked how we were getting on with re-organising house/baby room and I said, oh well at first I expect baby will sleep in a little crib next to our bed. She was totally shocked by this and, even when I said maybe it was different in her day, she insisted that no-one did that ("Do they do that in England?? I've heard they do that in Turkey...").
She was also telling me that when she was 7 months gone (I guess this was early 60's), a sort of health visitor/inspector would come round the house and you had to lay out all your baby stuff so they could make sure you had everything. This was Holland though, my Mum and Gran have never mentioned anything about people doing that in the UK.
Then she regaled me with the story of how my MIL went into labour with my BIL, called the doctor who said, don't worry ages to go. Of course it wasn't, so MIL called OH's aunt in panic, she rushed round and had to hold the top of the baby's head in until the doc managed to get back there.
Ahhh, thems were the days.....0 -
