I weighed myself yesterday at my mums and have put on 2st 3 pounds which I think is shocking but I suppose if I'm having baby on wednesday its not too bad. I wonder how much all that extra fluid weighs, not looking forward to losing all the baby weight.

After having a really busy day yesterday I just don't want to do anything today but I know that means it will drag. I have to wait in for a delivery too so can't even go somewhere. I'm also really hungry and just want to eat a massive plate of chips, can't even have a sandwich now it'll be salad for lunch or omlette.

just sneaking on to say congrats to Ledylegs. Sounds like my birth with the GA - not ideal. hope you have a speedy recovery!

Little Leo is doing well, we're just coming up for air from the 6 week growth spurt. he has a tongue tie which has made bfing painful for me and hard work for him, we go to tt clinic tues so hopefully will get sorted then. i am glad we've persevered though.

And an mse tip - boots newborn disposable nappies are fine, 2 packs for £3...far fewer leaks than with huggies. will get onto our real nappies eventually!

meeting up regularly with sir monster...and our twins as they've been described! so good to have someone else in the same situation.

Congratulations to Legs, sorry to hear the birth wasn't as she had hoped, but at least she is getting plenty of mummy cuddles now

I wouldn't worry too much about the mouse droppings - we have lots of mice at the moment - I catch them and put them out - I wouldn't kill them:T (I've found 2 in the last week in the dog food bin) I just make sure I wash my hands thoroughly after cleaning out the cupboards or catching the mice. I also have 2 rabbits which peopl have said I shouldn't be cleaning out - my hubby would not do it, but I just make sure I wash my hands:)

Well I think Emsy is going to beat me to this birth! Not even had a twinge, no braxtons, nada, nowt!! And I was at a ball in high heels, dancing til 2am this morning at 41wks pregnant......still nothing :cool:

Changed my mind - now think its a lazy boy instead of a girl I've predicted from the start

Induction is booked for 11th Nov at 3.30pm so I guess at the latest it will be started then!!

Plymouth, I hope yours puts in an appearance soon, you must be so fed up.

I've donr some cleaning this morning but I am so tired again now. I'm 16w 2 days now and people keep telling me you will start to bloom in the second trimester and will feel great.........I'm still waiting!
