  • I think all you 'due' ladies should get your party discs out. A bit of 'YMCA' and 'Blame it on the Boogie' will get you moving in no time! :D
Tried...tested...FAILED :( But it was to Take That..figured if bubs was a girl she might leap out but alas it didn't...next up Atomic Kitten:rotfl::rotfl:
Labour vibes to fuzz - you seem to be a very good incubator!
    Um....Thanks?!?!:undecided:p:rotfl:
    Hope you're feeling better today:)

Sharkey (((HUGS))) cannot even begin to imagine how stressful the last few weeks will be for you! But the relief once he's home will be immense:) Just keep thinking of that and he baby :D

Well I'm still here!!! Loads of tightening and very little pain:mad: so if I don't pop today then I have to keep my legs crossed until tuesday at the earliest...the annoying thing is that it's looking possible!!*sigh* On the bright side I'll only be pregnant for 1 more week one way or another:T:T Think I've resigned myself to the fact I'll be induced so anything before that is a bonus.

flower, the recommended advice is to keep the baby in it's own cot in your room for 6 months... But the reality is, you do what works for you... Some people put the baby straight in it's own room, some people keep the baby in with them for longer...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Thanks Fuzz. The good thing is that he has now purchased a Kuwaiti mobile phone with sim, so he can call me everyday and it will be much cheaper, He also found some website that i can use a code to call him from our landline and it only costs 6p a minute. I know he is probably finding this situation worse than me, but the job he is doing will clear ALL our debts before the baba comes and means we will have plenty of savings in the bank, so we can both spend some really good time with her, without having to worry about money. I am lucky because it's not the same with every newly married couple with a baby on the way.
Hope things start happening for you soon xx

I have a question for you all wise and knowledgeable women. Any advice and opinions welcome.
I have read that the baby should sleep in the parents room for the first 6 months or the first year.
I also read that the baby should sleep in his own room.
Then I read that the baby sleeping in your room is bad and also that the baby sleeping on his own is bad.
It seems, either way, I'm doomed, I'm gonna be a bad mother. :o
    What are your views, experience?
Meh..do whats right for you! We'll be having baby in with us for a couple of weeks while DH is on paternity leave but after that bubs will probably go into their own room coz DH is a light sleeper and I'd rather deal with a grumpy bubs than a grumpy Dad:p:)
If you're gonna be a bad mum I'm gonna be down right evil:rotfl::rotfl:

Legs didn't have the birth experience she wanted:( Had every intervention going but her lazy little one CBA'd:p ended up having a section under GA!! BUT the main thing is Mum and bubba are both ok and they're absolutely smitten:D

  • Woohoo. 27 weeks today = THIRD TRIMESTER :D

    2011.pngMake a pregnancy ticker

Pictures: you have to put them on photobucket, flickr, facebook etc then click the insert image and put in hyperlink address thingy. Thats the only way I know how but it works :p

    Snap! :T

Bubs is being naughty, gave me a right scare this morning. I woke to find my bump virtually gone and no movement. I had a bath and glass of orange juice and he's now having a party. He's probably just got himself comfy in a corner but it does nothing for my anxiety levels!!

I also don't seem to be able to do anything right at the moment, everytime I speak to DD she bites my head off and DH seems really off and distant. I hope its nothing and just my hormones making me crazy.

I'll try and pop in later but I really must sort out the babies room today as there is just stuff everywhere!

Just found mouse droppings in a cupboard in our kitchen :( It's just the cleaning cupboard that happened to have a bag of wild bird food in it (that's now all gone!) so I'm not overly worried, but then of course I goodled mouse droppings pregnancy and have now scared myself. Problem is, the websites also say "also stay away from pet hamsters" - and we have a pet hamster :( Ah well. OH will have to clean him out from now on!

Good luck Fuzz and all the other ladies in bold xx

    Congratulations Ladylegs, lovely name.

Hugs to you Sharkey - my OH was away for most of my last pregnancy, it's really horrible, you can have lots of sympathy from me. He has been really shocked this time at how much I have been struggling with things, because he didn't really see me pregnant until the last few days with DS, and didn't realise it had more impact than just being a bit lardy!

Giz - I'd be really fed up with her by now, if there was something really wrong, I'd have thought she'd be keen to resolve through Ebay to protect her money. Sounds like a chancer to me, I'd be standing my ground.

Lots of labour vibes to all who need them, we are due lots of baby pictures soon!
  • Yay Congrats Ladylegs, did she know what she was having? I cant remember, oh hold on, I'll have a look at the list duh..........aaah a little girl, gosh that was a good weight! Sorry legs didnt get the birth she wanted but glad all is safe and well! xxxx
