    Hey sammy,
    Team yellow for us.

Must try to figure out how to put pic up????
    Help!!!!
    Lol

I used tinypic it's really easy, you just need to remember to resize it or you end up with a huge pic (like I did :o). I got the guide from the Money Savers Arms, there is a thread there with step by step instructions if you need them :)

Giz - I would decline the refund and message her to say that you'll refund once you get the item back.

I haven't posted for ages - have been busy with work and just exhausted when I get home. All going well though. Went to my first antenatal class last week. Think it was more use to my husband than to me, especially the stuff about birth positions. He is gradually coming round to the idea of a more natural birth.

Baby has been very active. Feels like he is breech most of the time - my ribs are sore from where his head sticks into them - don't know why he likes that position so much as it must hurt him too! He's just moved round so he is head down so I'm hoping he'll stay that way.

Hoping for some news on births!

Giz sorry can't offer any advise, the buyer should know how it works and she has to send the item back before she can get her refund! Sounds like she is being an akward cow!

Thank you lovely ladies!! Feeling a lot better today after a good sleep, have also realised I do have other friends, I more than likely don't need this one with her drama anymore, making me feel rubbish every few weeks

I think I'll adopt your tactics Teenie, might 'forget' to reply to her next message ;)

On the topic of bottom burps... I'd never done them in front of husband before (too ladylike - me not him!!! :rotfl:) but the last few weeks I've been that gassy I decided to stop 'finding reasons to leave the room' and just did it where I was sitting, he was so shocked the first time which cracked me up - I still giggle everytime I do one now and he's used to it! Oh, I'm such a lady :p

We're trying to find somewhere local-ish to go tonight to see some fireworks, we've never taken Moo before as she's never wanted to go, but she'd like to go this year and I can't see us going anywhere next year so I feel like I owe it to her to find somewhere good - but hubby works nights and I don't drive so we're kinda limited where we can go - it has to be close enough so hubs can get back to get some sleep before work but as it's been "Direct Debit Week" we're skint so it has to be free too AND most of the pubs round here had theirs last night so... :undecided

Anyway, hope everyone has a lovely weekend! xxxxx

Thanks EJ, I took your advice. She's being completely unreasonable. I'm worried about a chargeback now. Costs £7 apparently. If she does that I will raise a dispute with her demanding the item back. I honestly don't believe there's anything wrong with the item. :( argh.

Welcome to the third trimester on the edge :D

  • Morning everyone!! Hope your all ok. Im on a bit of a downer today. My DH has been deployed again for 3 months and he left yesterday! He will probably be away until beginning of February and I am due on th 15th. Dont really know how I feel to be honest, feel really numb about it to be honest. I know he has to go to provide money for us, just cant believe we are in this same situation again. Think its probably more to do with my hormons (sp) than anything.
On a plus side, I finish for maternity leave 7 weeks yesterday, which I am so glad for as I am really starting to struggle.
OO Samy - can you put me on the list please EDD 15th Feb - Girl
Sorry to put a dampner on thread.

Ladies, for those of you worried about how long it takes to get up the list, I have had a peek and there are 7 in bold and 12 of us either due to pop or planned c/s within a week of me, so you will be flying up there soon :D :A :A

Thanks very much, don't wnat to risk it! Will have to get some honey and lemon in.

Keep your vitamin C and zinc levels up. (I did a trial with a common cold centre to see if vit C and zinc helped with colds. got £30 for it, and it helped my cold :j)

Off to take poorly car to the garage. It's only just been fixed too

  • Eek!!
I am number 43 on the list after the bold ladies!!
How did that happen? Better start thinking about where the baby is going to sleep. He/ she needs a bed. All I have so far is a car seat and 1 pack of newborn nappies. Me think it's time to get my bum n gear and go baby shopping.

I have a question for you all wise and knowledgeable women. Any advice and opinions welcome.
I have read that the baby should sleep in the parents room for the first 6 months or the first year.
I also read that the baby should sleep in his own room.
Then I read that the baby sleeping in your room is bad and also that the baby sleeping on his own is bad.
It seems, either way, I'm doomed, I'm gonna be a bad mother. :o
    What are your views, experience?
