ps. Now I have the time, I've just joined a gym for this last month so I can go swimming (it's a nice gym) and I explained I was 35 weeks.
The woman on the counter asked if I wanted to book an induction in the gym. Um. No, not really!! I don't have a bump so no one believes I'm pg.
I've found swimming really relaxing and helpful, apparently it helps the pelvis get ready too.

    Morning all

Welcome to the new ladies :)

Happy Due Date to me! No sign of anything happening (and still no stretchies!). Had a bit of what felt like period pain this morning and wondered if that might be my first twinge, but now I think it was more likely just wind:o To be honest, I don’t want anything to happen for another couple of days now cos I need to book tickets to see Take That next year, so need to be sat at the computer at 9am on Friday! So for any of the other nearly-due ladies, queue-jumping is allowed for the next 48 hours or so.;):p

Dusty, I occasionally forget even now! Usually when I’m nice and comfy in bed, with nothing aching. Then I try to move and I remember! :rotfl: But seriously, it did take quite a while for me to get my head around the idea that I was growing a little person and I would often forget.

Katy, my health visitor came round a few weeks ago. It was really just a chance for us to meet and she went through what I could expect from her. She never got beyond the living room and didn’t even ask to see the baby’s room. So it’s nothing to worry about.

It’s so nice to read about people getting excited about their scans and finding out flavours:) Though a bit scary to think I’ll have had my baby before a lot of the scans currently being talked about happen.
You can do anything, make anything, dream anything. If you change the world, the world will change.
  • digital - mine took about 4 weeks to come thorugh. I was just on the point of going to in ask how long it would be when it turned up.

Having a carp day. Had a spewing session this morning with very little warning - about 10 seconds to grab the bucket. Feeling knackered and a bit woozy and dizzy. Could be lurgy rather than MS I guess (please not MS, please not MS) As soon as I am able to organise getting home, then I will be gone and tucked up in bed for a sleep.

Need to get a few things done at work first though. Should've done them last week, but baby ate my brain cells and I completely forgot. ooops.
If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:

Digital, the £5 debs voucher is http://w.shopdebenhams.com/nms/jsp/webForm.jsp?fo=VoucherOther

Supposed no min spend, but it seems that you have to spend over £5. I thought I could get my big knickers for next to nothing :) or maybe something for baby :) I'm going to have a nose tomorrow.

    Happy due date.

Oh I want to see Take That :( £55 for tickets - and they'll be crap seats I bet. I really can't afford it now. Bad timing really. Gutted.

Hi ladies, I have read mention of a £5 voucher for Debenhams and Boots and wondered if I am missing anything? :p

How long does it take to join the Boots club. Was about two weeks ago we went into Boots to get the bag and were told we had to wait until a voucher was sent in the post, and the assistant said she'd send the form off for me. Of course I am not in any great rush :o but it's nice to get freebies and gets me out of the house :o

DP I joined the Boots club online and got the mag with a sheet of vouchers about a week after.
Maybe join online just incase she didn;t send it?

The £5 I mean is the no7/ruby mille one they were giving out a couple of weeks back. It expires on the 7th I think?
  • Thanks Hngry, Dusty and Giz :) I'll join online as well I think, just incase she did forget to send it.

Thanks for the voucher - I love freebies and I'm going into town later on today too :D

I too am poised at my computeer at 9am on friday. Although my friends hubby works for a company that apprentl has a contract with the Manchester stadium and so they've been allocated 2000 tickets and the staff can ballot for them tomorrowmorning. sounds too good to be true IMHO so I'm planning friday tactics.

Thanks for the reassurance, it is weird isn't it. I just want to physically feel something or see something to know all is well in there.

Maybe I'll invest in a doppler, anyone any advice on them?

migraine, dehydration or high BP. Hmmm....don't like any of those options perticularly.

Air con has just gone on too. it smells of stale wee to my pregnant nose.
