Hope you’re feeling better soon 2girls.

Hugs, HM. As others have said, we’re here for you to vent to on the bad days, as well as the good days.

Is a rocking moses basket stand a good thing to have? Ours is just a static one. Hmmm, more things to think about buying!!

I need to get more disposable nappies, but not sure on sizes. I’ve got reusables, but after speaking to a friend yesterday who had her baby 3 weeks ago, I’m thinking sposies would be better for the first month or so as I don’t want to put too much pressure on myself with keeping up with the washing etc. I currently have about a week’s worth in sizes 1 and 2, but will need to get some more. How long to babies tend to be in each size for? I’m not sure whether to mainly concentrate on getting size 2s, as I can always send DH out for size 1s if Flump turns out to be smaller than I’m expecting. What are others doing?

I’m very much over being pregnant now too. 39 weeks today and ready for this baby to come out. We’re off out for a curry with friends on Saturday, then hopefully off for a walk along the seafront in Teignmouth on Sunday – a friend of DH’s said that kicked off his wife’s labour both times!

Has anyone else noticed that their feet have become really smelly while pregnant?? Mine absolutely reek! :o DH keeps telling me they don’t, but I think this is along the lines of the “of course your bum doesn’t look big, darling” responses! They knock me sick.

And I feel very old after reading some of today’s posts. I did my GCSEs in 1990...

Nope:p you have to endure the queue jumpers just like me:rotfl::rotfl:
That is the rocking stand we have. I got it when we had DS its really good, and there isnt too much 'rock' in it if you know what i mean.

Is it really sad that i got a little excited to see my name on the list?? But i still dont think its really hit me that im having another baby and Im gonna have 2 under 2
Not so fussed about the 'rock' tbh so long as it teeters without it looking like it'll fall over ;) And not sad at all by seeing your name on the list....just gets more exciting the higher up you go :D

I don't think they're any better tbh I just got all irrational about having a rocking one:o blame the hormones:D

I've found that size 2's cross over between 1 & 3's so have 2 packs of size 1, 1 packs of size 2, and 3 packs of size 3's but not knowing how many we'll need it'll do for now and can always send hubby out for anything I might need;):)

    Good morning ladies,

Sorry, I'm in work so haven't got time at the mo to read back. Hope you are all ok.

I have a question. I went to see my midwife last night for the results of my bloods and it turns out my blood group is A Rhesus D Negative which isn't as common and I need to have Anti D injections? Can anyone shed any light on this?

On the plus side, we got to hear the heartbeat after a bit if digging. Baby was really down, close to foof :)

Oh, and I'm 18 weeks today and finally got my 20 week scan date for 3 weeks today. Yippee!!!! So cannot wait :)

    Ciao bellas xxx

Rare blood, two injections required at 28 and 34 wks or something. very rare blood look at donating if possible. very rare blood.

I am sorry to say this but... I just had cake for breakfast
That's a continental breakfast in this house... Had one meself yesterday ;)
Ladies, anyone know much about expressing milk?
It is possible to express colostrum, but like Lauren said it's quite thick and very concentrated and in the first few days all the baby needs is a teaspoon or so per feed... You're better off hand expressing and collecting in a small cup to feed from.

Tbh though, you'd be much better breastfeeding directly if you're able to. Babies are so much better at emptying breasts than pumps are, plus they give off all the right signals to your body to make the milk come in and increase the supply...

There are so many other ways DH could be involved than just feeding.. Mine was the one that held the baby and walked up and down the room settling her after a feed... Some Daddy's are happy to change nappies or do bathtime, or even just sit quietly and read a story to the baby...

:rotfl::rotfl:Yeah thanks for that, I remembered to do it when I starting chucking up and a bit of wee escaped :o, my pelvic floor muscles are not what they used to be LOL!!
That happened to me just before I got pregnant again lol... There's no hope for me!!!
I have just worked out that I am number 75 on the list of 99!! If some one else gets Pregnant soon I will be 1/4 of the way up the list lol.
Would you not work things like that out... I'm above you on that there list!
Is it really sad that i got a little excited to see my name on the list?? But i still dont think its really hit me that im having another baby and Im gonna have 2 under 2
It only hit me yesterday when DD2 spent the whole day crying... As Hubby took her upstairs to bed this little voice said "how the eff are you going to cope with another day like that when you have a baby too?!"
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
