Hi SG. Hope the new job is good.
I'm A Rhesus Neg. You'll get one injection at 28 weeks (it used to be 2 at 28 and 34wks). I went to the maternity unit at the hospital for it and was told to feel something like a "bee sting" but I honestly didn't feel much at all, just a cold sensation for a second or two. It didn't hurt. They will make you an appointment.

You have a 2nd injection after the birth IF your baby has different blood group.

Us A Neg ladies aren't that uncommon. Apparently about 8% of the UK population is A Neg.

LL can you tell me whereabouts they give you the jab, as I have mine in a couple of weeks. I hope its not in the arm as I'm still really bruised there from the last attempts by MW to take bloods there.

    Morning ladies,

MI3 - my friend had the anti d injection and was very surprised to discover they stabbed her in the bum cheek

well ladies, I think I finally have a bump :j. When i lie down there is a definite protrusion and my leggings aren't staying up :o. When OH got into bed for a cuddle this morning he was saying 'bl00dy hell, where did that come from' it seems to have just appeared over night. Will try and get my first bump pic on later.

Right arm for me. It goes into the muscle so they can't botch it up. You can request bottom too!

Well I don't mind a stab in the bum - I've got plenty of padding there!

    I've been Money Tipped!
I just ordered a petit star zia+ from nurseryvalue, its a reworked one and has a footmuff, not bad for £58.

They gave me a code AFTER i ordered for a new zia (only in red, black, blue and pink) ZKA35 would be £124.99 but £89.99 with code, they have some nice buggies in the reworked section.
