Morning ladies.
Had my 25 MW appointment this morning, bump is measuring 24 cm so that's good, BP fine, slight trace of protein in my wee but she said she wouldn't send it off as it was negligible.
And more importantly - I got my HIP grant application form - so that's in the post now!
A little moan about Vertbaudet - I ordered some storage boxes from them but arranged for them to be delivered to work, which is what it says on my email confirmation. Came home yesterday to a courier card - they've tried to deliver to my billing address! Grrr. So not only did I order on 5th October and have to wait till the 18th for attempted delivery, but now I have to wait until Saturday before I can arrange redelivery! My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

I have a question
I had always said that if I had a kid I would do the baby signing with it......has anyone else done this and if so did you find it helpful.....I mentioned it to my SIL and she laughed in my faceThe pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -

i have never done this myself as never really had a chance - either at work part time or older child in tow, but 2 of my close friends have done this and both have found it beneficial. One of those friends is starting it with her 6 month old at the moment. The other still uses it when talking to younger children like its second nature. She felt it helped as they could comunicate better without getting frustrated before they got the hang of words.
On a very happy note my ipod (with hypno stuff on) has now come to light along with the baby bottles that i knew i had bought. So i am all ready for little one to make an appearance and am feeling a lot happier than yesterdayMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Catwoman I have been looking at that cot too – it’s a fab price through that Ebay shop and I think I could convince OH to get it especially if I can sell some junk on Ebay to gather some spending funds

*hugs* Tink Hope you are ok hun.
Well as for me – am desperately trying to tick everything off my to do list as we are going away on holiday to Kos for a week on Thursday :j Had some fantastic news last night as the hotel we originally booked into has got LOTS of steps and I was a little worried about how I would cope especially as I'd read on the internet that the one lift frequently break. I mentioned to OH I was worried about the steps and being the boy scout he is he emailed the hotel to ask if there was any chance of us having a room near the complex because I am pregnant and we were a little concerned about the amount of steps there.
After a couple of emails back and forth the hotel have replied today to say that they have upgraded us for free to the super duper hotel next door which is part of the same chain but was only completed in May this year as there are less steps there. This new hotel looks AMAZING - there are 60 pools – it's 5* plus and has a spa and the rooms and facilities look fantastic! I can't believe that they have upgraded us for free it looks as if our last holiday as a couple is going to be extra nice now
Bump seems to be growing nicely - am looking forward to our 20 week scan a few days after we get home from our holiday tooOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
Everything fine at the midwife appointment. My appointment was at 10.20 and didn’t get called in til 11am.
She took the blood for the quad test which I am now terrified about. Listened to the heartbeat, which was amazing. I said it sounds like a train and she said well 'they' say if it sounds like a train it is a boy and if it sounds like a galloping horse then it is a girl. Then I couldn't work out if it was a train or a horse. :rotfl:
She talked me through the quad test cos im so nervous about it and said they have over 2000 babies across the 4 hospitals every year and she can prob count on one hand how many are downs. No tests are accurate, this quad test is only about 82% accurate I'll get the results at my 20 week scan but if there's a problem they may write to me before. Have my next appt with her at 25 weeks on the 21st dec.0 -

Similar here - appt at 9am, midwife walked in to the building at 9.15am and I was called at 9.30am!

Thanks slm I really want to give the signing a go and felt quite annoyed when my SIL laughed at me considering that she works as a classroom assistant in a special needs school :S
Glad everything was ok at your appointment this morning Dusty It's rare when I have gone for any appointment in the hospital or the Drs, that I have been taken on time :S I think it's sods law but it does also help if they start on time lol....
Enjoy your holiday FairyThe pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110
