I was just in Tesco and they had a rail of baby clothes half price and there is currently a 3 for 2 offer on baby clothes. I picked up 3 sleepsuits with matching hats for £6. For £2 each you can't go far wrong and they were really cute.

RBC cool pram like how it spins, I could imagine the hours of fun my DD would have spinning the baby round LOL. I think this time we are looking for a 3 wheeler. The one I seen was the icandy like this

I'm a bit worried though as I can't seem to find a price anywhere for it :o will keep looking but probably too expensive!

Krystaltips and ticklepenny hope you feel better soon. My friend at work who is also pregnant was sick at work with a bug, she never made it to the toilet and had to puke in a bucket!:rotfl:

Teenie, I don't think iCandy publish their prices, you have to go to a store that stocks them to find out...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Hi everyone

Busy day here, went to Tesco first thing to pick up our cellular blankets, cot bed sheets, sleeping bag and baby carrier that I ordered a few weeks ago. Then to B&Q for paint, then to my office to pick up some toys from a friend, and then home and we've been painting the nursery all day! Having a rest now while lovely OH makes the dinner - feel sad for him though cause he fell off the stool while painting, he said he was fine but I was in floods of panicky tears! :D

Pregnancy yoga tomorrow AM then hopefully we'll put the furniture up in the nursery :)

  • WOW! You've been a busy lot. Not been on since Tuesday evening and had over 20 pages to catch up with. Still reading through, but thought I'd say 'Hi' anyway.

Was out in Maidstone for a couple of days with work. Was promised that site would be ready for us and there would be access to a toilet. No on both counts. Luckily there was some kind of old people's club in the house next door, and they were lovely and let us borrow their loo, otherwise there would have been a rather embarrassing puddle :o

My site/decorating trousers no longer do up. Eeeek. Only last week I could do them up. Seems that sproglet has had a bit of a growth spurt. I can no-longer hide the bump now either, so I was out and proud in the pub on Thursday with a fitted t-shirt. Got a few looks, and one friend whispered in my ear "So when's it due?".

Called the Drs on Tuesday to make my 25 MW appointment. Got told that she's fully booked until 10th November (I'll be 27 weeks) :(. They said to call back the following day after 2pm to speak to the MW and discuss best options about the appointment. So I did. Got told it was the relief MW and that I could leave a message and she'd call me back. So I explained the problem and asked for a message to be left as I was going to be driving to Kent so wouldn't be able to answer or call back. They didn't pass on anything except to call me back, so I had a voicemail when I got to Kent saying that she'd called me and could I call her back . I'll try again on Monday.

Just done an epic clean on the bathroom. Got right down into all the little nooks and crannies. Think I must be nesting.

Think I'll stop with my extra-long post now and carry on catching up....

    Best wishes to all :)

Teenie - We have the icandy apple (not the jogger wheel version though - just the standard 4 wheel version). Icandy don't allow any sellers to publish prices on-line but if you request a catalogue of the icandy website they include a price list.
Ours was £400 for the pushchair and flavour pack and then £155 for the carrycot, from what I remember I think the jogger wheel one was a little bit more expensive.
It is a fab pushchair though and worth every penny :D.

    Evening all,

Hope everyone's feeling okay and relevant vibes to all who need/want. :D
My hubby wants to call our baby Jack Daniel if it is a boy and I have been putting my foot down but at the same time I like the names Jack and Daniel and it would please my extended family if we had a biblical name in there......the argument continues there....still haven't decided on a girls name xx

Why not offer Daniel Jack as a compromise? He could still be known as Jack if you'd prefer, and the abbreviated DJ is still cool .

What does anyone think of these names:

    Joshua
    Samuel
    Thomas
    Luca

    ?

I love Luca, but it's too common a Serbian and Romanian name for OH to consider. The other three I like in their full form, but not the shortened so much.
Ben was on my list too, again DH vetoed it coz apparently it's a dogs name*confused* think he was thinking of his childhood dog which was called Benji!! That might help get it out of your head;):p:rotfl:

I remember that from the days of "Animal Hospital" with Rolf Harris- the head vet's dog's name was Ben and they pointed out it was the most common name for dogs in the UK! Sorry to add to your DH's case. :rotfl:

As for nursing pads- I've been wearing then since 20wks. I used to leak before I was preggers, so I stood no chance once I was :o.

Spent today signing up to all the baby clubs- we'll see in a couple of weeks which ones are worth it. Did everyone get a bounty pack at their booking in/from MW? If so, when? Is it just me that's missed out?

What do people think of these (boys) names? I want the opinion of some first language English speakers before I agree to anything :p:

    Arblind
    Alaron
    Lason
    Zafer
    Suljot (Sool-yot)
    Eldian

Ug, have to stand up and cook I suppose...
