Think that's all for now. When I was up town I was keeping an eye on some of the buggies that i like. We have our DD's pram which was fine for her until she started sitting up, found the weight distribution really uneven so either going to sell it and look for a complete travel sysem or keep it and find a decent pushchair as it will be used the most.

    Oh decisions decisions!

I wanted one of the ones that does 360 so that you can decide what you want the bubs to look at and we finally decided on this one http://www.mothercare.com/mothercare-Spin-pushchair-and-accessories/dp/B003MRI6BS/sr=1-1/qid=1287237324/ref=sr_1_1/276-7139949-2351536?_encoding=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=340782031&mcb=core

we got this one on the babyplan as we got the car seat with it and they worked out a deal with us and also gave us 10% off reassuring us that if we changed our mind we could actually get a full refund :)

The only thing I insisted that we weren't getting second hand was the pram but that was only because this is our first and I have problems with my shoulders so I needed to be sure I could deal with the pram...
The pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 2011

Mine too, who does he work for?? Mini baby boom in OH's work apparently. Wouldn't it be amusing if it was the same place :rotfl:
He works for a road works company W Brown, driving the low loader. That would be funny if it was the same company!

Oooooo glad you mentioned freezing breast milk...how do you go about safely defrosting it?? once chilled/frozen do you heat it up like formula or just wait til its at room temp??
Sorry if the questions seem stupid:o:o
You don't have to heat it, depends how baby prefers it... Information on expressing and storing here...

I loved the name Gage for a boy, had my heart set on it till I was informed it was a euphanism for drug taking! :(
I've never heard of that?! I like Gage... We've got 2 boy names picked... We're swinging more towards one than the other at the minute... Although Hubby came up with a not very nice nickname, it still hasn't put us off the name...

We had names picked but I knew it would happen, I have gone off them already. I knew this would happen so not going to even consider names until the very end!
That happened with me with DD1, I had a boy name and a girl name picked out that I loved right from the off, but by the time she was born I'd gone off them... Funnily enough, my sister chose the boys name for her son born 13weeks after DD1...

With DD2, we had the girls name picked out really early, it was the only one we both agreed on... Couldn't decide on a boys name at all, then we decided while I was in labour... Had a girl... Then last month my sister had another boy... And named it the boys name we'd decided on last time lol...

Thankfully it's not the names we're thinking of this time...

I've had a really upset tummy for 3 days now... I feel OK otherwise, just lots of rushing to the toilet... Hope it stop soon!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

Was teaching this morning so I was up and about early unfortunately, now I can't be bothered doing any of the housework that is needing done, and I'm watching 101 Dalmations!! I've just seen a piccy of me teaching a couple of weeks ago, it's quite sweet - the photographer was in doing pics of the girls and I'm standing in front of them, obviously telling them to pull their tummies in, they're all standing nicely at the barre and then there is me at the front with huge bump sticking out!!

  • Giz – I would advise taking vaseline to the hospital, and applying it to babys bum asap so that first poo’s don’t stick as badly as they can do. Also I don’t know if anyone else has found this but DD screams when applying Sudocream to bad nappy rash so I have taken to using Bepanthen. Baby nail clippers may be useful as DD was born with long nails randomly.

Dipsy/ MV– I win the grotbags/Slummy Mummy competition. I was up with a gastro bug during the night (1am -10am) so am sat here in my nightie and joggers still, greasy hair, bad breath mildly disguised by mouth wash (tooth brush is not going anywhere near my mouth for 24 hours lol). Feeling sorry for myself as (TMI) I am a violent vomiter think of excorcist, so I have burst blood vessels round my eyes making me look adam ant esque. (pity party again!) And I can’t find my specs, so cant even watch crap TV properly.

I do love OH as he has arranged for DD to stay with MIL as I woke her up every time I was sick last night, but due to OH’s meds he is not able to function during the night. So I was being sick then calming her down, then toddling off to be sick again (vicious circle).
    DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz
    DD1 arrived 20/05/09 10lb3oz

Lol, a classic book :p (Did you know it was written about a semi-real life situation and he couldn't bring himself to get it published for years?)

I have my scan on Monday :j:j... We're not finding out though...
