Smartie - regarding your DS cast, when I fractured my arm my mum covered it with a bin bag and tied it with a length of elastic for showers and when we were going out and it was raining. Stylish! But it did work.

rach i hate when people sit on the outside of seats! some people are soooo ignorant. had to stand on the bus on the way to work yesterday, and not one person offered me a seat! its not as if i really needed it, im ok standing but some pregnant women cant, when i wasnt pregnant i always got up for pregnant, elderly people etc! going through the same thing at the mo RE grumpy OH, i swear some of my hormones must have rubbed off on him :mad:

kitkat im the same re not feeling ready for the actual baby!! im not really good with them and when people bring their new LO's into work etc, i just like to admire from afar lol :rotfl: one thing that i cant stop thinking about is the bellybutton. i didnt realise they put that clip thing on and then it falls off :eek: so have got myself all worked up about it now and have frightened myself about accidentally tugging at it or something. told my mum this earlier and she thinks i have went mad, she just told me to wise up

lilac no need to add a disclaimer for me lol. i LOVE hearing birth stories, even the horror ones. i feel like it prepares me a bit more for all the possibilites!

Thanks ladies I held my 1st baby 2 months ago and I looked so awkward!! I am sure once I have my own it will be easier to practise!! Lol. Keep getting odd pains now but it seems to ease then start again abit, nothing much though. I have absolutely terrible pelvis/ low down pain. When I stand up it takes a while and I have to get up almost doing the splits then as I walk I gradually get my legs back together again, but it hurts so much!!

Still here, still knocked up

Wondered whether I was going last night, had, er, rather a lot of diawoowoo and have felt sick all day. It's either early days or I have a stomach bug :eek:. Mw has offered to give me a sweep tomorrow afternoon, really not sure about it now. Daft as it sounds, I want to clean the grout in the bathroom and it'd be much easier without a baby!

Spotted the Totsbots nappy offer on Fb - thanks Freebiequeenie. Got my money back from the council too for buying reusables

Quite a few of us over now, isn't there. I feel strangely calm about it all (although I do wish people would stop ringing :mad: either I've just had it and haven't got round to ringing anyone yet, or I haven't. I'm only a day over !!!!!!!)

Done! No worries about being in bold. For yesterday to be right I'd have needed to conceive on day 8 of a 28 day cycle. I did try telling them this ...

Poke it.. is that the technical term?! :rotfl: OH has offered to do a DIY sweep.. I'm unsure though...

Re: the splits, I think its the floor as its laminate and very slippery, so I get up off the sofa and my legs just seem to split and as my pelvis hurts so much I just cant get the strength to bring them together straight away! Sure I am making things worse!!
