Hello ladies
Good luck to Gems today
Can I ask a maternity clothes question? When do the maternity clothes start to fit? I'm busting out of jeans here and I'm only 9+4 and I don't really want to buy bigger sizes and then in a few months maternity clothes too.... What do you ladies do in the "in-betweeny" stage?
xDxFear is temporary, regret is forever.....:happyhear Baby girl born 27th September - 10 days late!! :happyhear0 -
Good luck Gems, hope this is it x
Debs, I already had some maternity clothes hanging around from last time, and was probably in them by 9 weeks - just had to wear a belt - they should fit much the same, but with an elastic tummy, which makes them nice and comfy! I never bought bigger sizes, as the rest of me wasn't growing so they never fit right.0 -
Congrats on baby Lucas - beautiful name
We need some girls to gang up with Daisy on all these boys
Lauren - big hugs, which ever way is for the best I hope it sorts itself sooner rather than later :grouping:
Dusty - the exemption cert application you get from your midwife (can't remember if she sends it off or you do) at your booking in appointment. I hope you don't have a Quincy!!
Labour vibes to gem
AFM - at 33+3 and my bump has well and truly dropped and I am been told by everyone I speak to I won't be seeing term
I have to say I have though for a while this bean is gonna be early but we shall see - anyone have any "statistics" on babies engaging so early in a 3rd pregnancy?
Hugs to all who I have missed.

Lauren I can totally empathize with you.......I am doing this pregnancy alone too (since I was 9 weeks) and this board has been sooo helpful, particularly in those "I absolutely cannot do this" moments, of which I remember plenty of in the beginning
Just having a mooch on here before midwife appt at 11.20......checking that darned BP again! When I asked nursey yesterday what would happen if it was up again today, she didn't have a very solid answer........
Ho hum. Everyone says I seem v calm about it, but to my mind, I just think I need to go with it.......why stress, might have been a bad day yesterday0 -

Hope all goes OK with the MW & your BP.
I am just back from physio it seems the left side of the front of my pelvis has but itself behind the right side  no wonder it has been smarting.
I have MW @ 11.30 must remember to P in my pot!!:rotfl:
If you can think it........it will happen0 -
Coming out of lurking to say OH MY GOD when did i become so high up on the list i am the next planned c-section:eek::eek::eek:
I must say though i am sooo fed up of being pregnant now fed up with the constant indigestion, backache, inability to walk without limping, only being comfortable in nighties, and generally looking and feeling CARP:(
I am not good at being pregnant!!!!!
On the plus side my best friend is also pregnant 6 weeks behind me so when i've had baby i get to revel in her being peed off with being pregnant like she did to me last time (our daughters are 3 mths apart).
Lauren just a few words of advice please don't get too upset, it's hard to think rationally when pregnant, buying 'things' is very easy and at the end of the day is not a guage of how much you love someone, he is having a baby with you and that means more than any flowers or trinkets. My DH doesn't buy me 'things' but the it's the everyday things he does thats lets me know how much he loves me.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -
woah, this thread is a dynamo! I can't keep up.....30 pages have passed since I last posted around 2 weeks ago!
To all those ladies at the top of the list, hope you are well and if baby has arrived, big congrats to you all x:heart2::heart2:On ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur :heart2::heart2:we're debt freeeeeeeeeeeee....FREEEEDOM!!! :j:T0 -
Dusty - the exemption cert application you get from your midwife (can't remember if she sends it off or you do) at your booking in appointment. I hope you don't have a Quincy!!
xx
Thanks tigtag, I got the form and apparently the doc will fill it in and send it off for me. I do have an ear and throat infection - JOY - He put me on antibiotics but I told the pharmacist I was PG and waiting for my form and he said ok. That was easy......
p.s what's a quincy?**confuzzled** wrote: »I got some bump bands...still using them actually coz I'm too tight to actually buy maternity clothes:o:rotfl:
Now, I've heard you talk about these bump bands before and seen them on the New Look website when you linked the other day, what are they, what do you wear them for? Take pity on a young PG lady with no bl00dy clue about anything....:o0
