Well, this talk of sleep is making me even more sleepy, so I'm going to bed now. Earlier I was feeling so tired and low that I just wanted to hide in a corner and cry myself to sleep.

Hi there - thanks for all the msgs re my induction. Baby Adam was finally born this morning by emergency c-section and weighed in at 8pm 1oz - not bad for 38 weeks :-)
I don't want to go into too much detail, but although the pessary worked, the hormone drip completely floored me. I had an epidural to get me through the night of contractions, but when I started to push, the baby was having none of it. They tried to get him out using forceps which also didn't work out, so they gave me section.

Bottom line is that we're both ok - albeit battered and bruised :-) but I think if I ever do this again it's an elective section all the way!

Glad everything went well in the end - hoping my induction isn't as eventful xx And well done ClareEmily too.

Keep wondering if I'm ever going to disappear off the top of that list!!!!!!!! Still nothing, although major cramps atm.

Morning all

Been up since 4.30am with pelvic pain, the pain got worse last night at about 8pm and is worse when I've been for a wee, its like I've been holding my urine too long and my bladder gets irritated. Just waiting for a reasonable hour to give the midwife a quick ring. Everything is probably ok but just want to check its not a UTI.

Congratulations on all the new arrivals, has anyone heard from Rach? Just wondered how she was after her GA.

The changing bag I've got for the baby arrived yesterday so today I'm gonna pack all the babies hospital bits.

I am so looking forward to DS being full time at school, only one more month of picking him up at 12.

I am ready to go and see the Physio again this morning about my pelvis. A note to anyone suffering get your MW to refer you to the physio they are amazing.

I am not too sure what she will have to say today or if she will let me go back to work Just have to wait & see.

We do seem to be having a baby boom on here which is getting scary as I keep going up the list and can reme,ber when I was right at the end

Thanks for the congrats on being engaged...had to think about it for a min when I saw the posts this morning...was thinking it was 3yrs too late til it dawned on me it was all about bubs:o:p:rotfl:
Got mega hip ache going on but I'm under strict instructions not to give birth for at least 2 weeks so my Mum can hold baby:rotfl:
Speaking of which I won't be around much this morning...she's gone for her op and I'm a nervous wreck(the laughter above is purely nervous energy:o) so everyone keep everything crossed that all is ok and it hasn't got any further please:) And parents tell us we cause THEM stress! Hah!:p
