HAPPY DUE DATE Gems81:j:j0 -
Congratulations Clare (well done) and welcome gorgeous baby Daniel.
Thanks whoever was saying about sleeping/feeding. Milo is pretty good but gets grouchy and sometimes takes ages over his night time feeds so I'm sitting up for hours listening to OH snore and getting cross and upset. Luckily, OH takes him in the morning after his first am feed so I can be undisturbed for a few hours' sleep and he's been pretty good at feeding me, otherwise I might have smothered him with a nappy bag by now (OH, not Milo)

I think there are about 35 ewes plus lambs so not very many, have been looking at buying more- they belong to his dad, but he is always there helping, hoping to get some of our own one day.0

How bad is it for me not to follow the guidelines on how I sleep?
I've read that I'm supposed to sleep on my left side. However, I seem to get most comfortable relaxing on my back, then rolling over on to my right side just before I drop off (I hate sleeping on my back as I often have trouble breathing when I do). Sometimes I do even sleep on my back when I can't get comfortable any other way.If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -
Ah that's sweet!! I love goats, but hubby doesn't like them! I'd also like pigs but he's not very keen on them either!0

Hi all, hoping I can get some advice...so on Sat at 32+2 my waters went! Bit of a shock, and went to hosp, they kept me in overnight, no signs of labour but have had steroid shots to help the babys lungs in case it comes quickly. Am also on antibiotics to help if there is any infections.
Have been sent home and have to go in twice a week for tests (or sooner if anything happens). Just wanted to see if anyone knew anyone in my postion...or had it happen to them?
Thanks
H
Hi, I had my first at 33 weeks, he was in NICU for a month but he's now a cheeky little 2 yr old. I know someone who's waters went at 18 weeks and she had to lie down and rest for the rest of her pregnancy, they delivered the baby 31 weeks, he had a tough start but is fine now.
Its good that you have the steroids on board to strengthen the lungs. Its good that they are keeping a close check on you. What tests are they doing twice a week- scans or doppler too? Make sure you rest and take care xxx
Congrats Claire, baby Daniel is lovely xxx0 -

I think it's only bad after 4/5 months to lie on your back for too long, the weight of the bump puts too much pressure on your inferior vena cava/aorta. I found that it wasn't comfy after that anyway to sleep on my back. I naturally sleep on my tummy, so find it really difficult on my side - I do change sides during the night as I get too sore in one position.0 -

My friend had her daughter at 26 weeks, she's now a very tall and healthy almost 12 year old, just started high school - her due date was in Feb and she gave birth 30th October:eek:0
