I dont have a community midwife. I guess I could just phone my GP and see if I can speak to a doctor there..?
Hugs MV - I would say phone your MW or MW unit or the GP just to get some advice. Take careIf you can think it........it will happen0 -
Definitely phone up. You need peace of mind and hopefully they'll make an appointment for you to hear baby...other wise your BP is gonna soar!!!0

Thanks all. Giz, no GP isn't really local. My own fault for making this more complicated than it needs to be, but my GP is in Ealing (west London) and I live in South East London.
Throw that I work in Berkshire into the mix and it becomes even more tricky!
I'll give the GP a call and see if I can speak to someone, although as far as I know the MW is only there one day a week.
I don't know anyone with a doppler. I reckon if I used one though I'd be rubbish and not be able to find the heartbeat and !!!!!! myself up even more!Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Fuz Is it a coincidence that I decide to delurk and then all this pain down below starts up?
Think it's coz I'm not used to walking anymore:o I rely on my car way too much! but hubby has it for the foreseeable(few days) coz his is boogered!
MV are you sure what you're feeling is wind??? When bubs 1st started moving I thought it was wind too but now I realise it was a mix of bubs shifting and releasing my trapped gas so each bubba movement resulted in DH hitching himself further across the sofa:p:rotfl: [STRIKE]Have you a doppler or anything just to reassure you bubs is fine?[/STRIKE] Ignore that didn't see the last bit of your post:o Do you know anyone with a doppler or is there a walk-in NHS centre nearby??1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

No sign of anymore pink from me yet. We haven't had sex since Bdingbut I did orgasm this morning. Can that cause cervix sensitivity? I will ask midwife tomorrow. I am also very constipated. But nothing new there as I suffer with that on a daily basis anyway. Baby is still moving and I've got no pain or anything (apart from the pelvis pain).
I'm off for a free lunch nowA new pub has opened up nearby and they are offering a free 2 course meal (just got to pay for drinks and service).
Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
Giz.. orgasm might have caused a bit of pink discharge. There is increased blood supply to the cervix so anything around there.. hands, vibrators.. anything can cause a little capillary to burst, straining to poo, walking too fast.. anything. Unless it is blood rather than bloodied discharge it isn't anything interesting.
MV.. i didn't feel my 4th move until 26 weeks and then it was very infrequent.. she was just a slob and was asleep and growing.. good news was she was just the same after birth.. rarely moved and slept constantly!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

On the vaguely-related subject of taking knickers off, has anyone found it one of the most difficult tasks of the day to actually put a pair on????:o I get one foot in but struggle with the second hole so it turns into a mini workout...OH thinks it is a very amusing sight.0
