I have a quick question about RLT if anyone can help - I've taken the capsules for the last couple of days (only 2 per day, the bottle said I can take up to 6) and have had strong BH and discomfort (not quite pain, but not the usual twinges) regularly since.
I'm hoping that this means that the RLT is doing what it's meant to, but having no experience of this any advice would be great.

hope the heartburn is ok dream, I've just had a big glass of milk and some fruit toast so no more RLT today for me. Will try harder tomorrow
sweaty betty - not sure, sorry. I think it's more just that they make your uterus work better in labour (sure someone else will know).
Have seen some slippers online at M&S to order and some nursing bras on ebay so must sort those tomorrow...bed now, night all xx zzzzzzzzzzzMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
sweaty - ive read lots of reviews on the internet and loads of people have said the RLT can kick off braxton hicks or labour. then again lots of people say its carp and doesnt even work! its hard to know what to believe with it. one thing that most people have said though is that it is meant to make the real contractions you have more powerful in order for the 2nd stage of labour to be quicker. HTH but as i said its just from googling reviews that ive read so cant be 100%0

morning everyone
Up early today, DS got stuck on his window sill waving daddy off to work, I told him its still dark and to go back to bed but he decided he was hungry and if I don't come down with him he would make a right mess of the kitchen.
Spoke to manager last night and she said she can't see a reason why I can't finish off my coursework whilst I'm on maternity leave, esp before the baby arrives when the kids are both at school, I just need to pop into work to get it signed off before I can send it. Such a relief cos there was no way I was going to get it done before I go.
Gonna be fasting again tonight, it is the dreaded GTT tomorrow0 -
morning all
didn't sleep great, too hot to get to sleep, then kept waking with pins and needles in my arm and numb hands..not sure why, must've been lying funny I guess! Just looked it up and apparently not unusual at this stage of pregnancy...great
Better get myself showered/bathed as friend will be here at 9 and I'm not exactly quick these days!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Have had a bad morning already. DH and I have rowed and I feel like all we're doing at the moment is rowing. I'm dreading my maternity leave as DH will be off for the whole of it as well. I've been off 5 weeks now and am more than likely going to be off until baby arrives. DH just seems to find fault with everything I do and don't do. I know I can be difficult to live with at times, but he's gone back to making sarky remarks to me all the the time, even in front of other people, we went through this about 7 or 8 years ago when I was low and before we got married, but things have been so much better in recent years. I suppose its because we are under eachothers feet all the time and I've disrupted his routine with DS.
How the hell are we going to manage another 9 months together until I go back to work when we'll be sleep deprived aswell, once baby arrives. I can see us getting divorced before baby is a year old if this keeps up!!!0 -
Morning all.
Loving the new baby peeps...congrats all.
20 weeks today and feeling really good. Headaches and dizzy spells seem to have passed and I have an obvious baby bump now so not feeling so podgy.
DH got me a spa voucher for my birthday a couple of weeks ago so I'm going for a pre-natal pampering session after work.

I've booked a midwife appointment for tomorrow afternoon.
Felt baby move this morning at least.
BTW who was the person that overheard about a 50% off sale at M&P? You were right. Got an email this morning for a code to get in first. It's only selected things that have been reduced...the Joolz pram (the main part) is half price.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -

As for RLT...I actually look forward to my 1cup a day:o Starting to prefer it cold but think thats more to do with overheating when I have hot drinks!
Can someone explain to me what the different stages of labour are pls:o I hear about stage 1/2/3 but no-ones actually told me what these stages are..or if they have I've blocked it out coz half of me is still convinced the stork will drop my baby off for me:p:rotfl:
