Xmas congrats on what sounds like a fantastic birth :T and a beautiful name :T

Preliminary diagnosis says I do have MS, but doc says I should recover the sensations and movement I've lost, which I'm happy with, he was lovely today and has been making the arrangements for little monsters sunroof arrival :)

Oh and now I can afford to carry on taking the kids to school on the bus as I probably will have a bus pass like all the old folks :rotfl:

I've got an appointment to see a consultant tomorrow at 9.40, presumably to check us both over and arrange the section for us

After baby is born I'll be seeing the consultant neurologist to confirm it all, and see how trhey want to manage it.

Oh blimey! How do you feel about it?? (((Hugs))) if you'd like them!

Shall we plan our sunroof arrivals at same time??;)

Delain sorry to hear your likely to have MS, *fingers crossed* that you don't have it. Am thinking of you.

Smartie I don't blame you not wanting more babies, I've found my pregnancy hard and I don't have half the health problems you have so I can imagine how difficult it's been. My OH wants to try for another as soon as this ones born but I think I need a break! And to cope with just one! I don't know how you manage it Xmas, Suzy, Pigpen, or any others of you!

Delain - welcome to the club ;) I cope fine, sensation comes and goes, sometimes i need a walking stick but i got a purple sparkly one which is lovely. I get DLA lower care because hand sensation problems mean i can't peel veg or carry a pot of hot water. Hope you don't have it but if you do then its no the end of the world.

Smartie - sorry devil child didn't turn, yay for soon to be having a date though.

delain - so sorry to hear about the diagnosis, though as Lilac shows us people cope amazingly well. I have a couple of friends with it and a lot of the time you would hardly know. IIRC there are different types but I'm obviously no expert!

smartie sorry bubs didn't turn, hope you can relax a bit tonight. xx

Nothing much planned for tonight, need to make a couple of phone calls and sort my bag for work tomorrow but that's it apart from a bit of tv.

    Thanks for the hugs :)

No one knows what the future holds, I'm perfectly happy that they know what it is and that it isn't advanced (there was only an issue with the pics of my spine, they couldn't see anything wrong on the pics of my brain) so it's a good job the first sign was so dramatic and weird that they got it right quickly :)

Smartie we could have devil twins :rotfl:

  • gorgeous photo xmas.

smartie sorry to hear they couldnt turn baby at least with a c-section you know date baby is arriving thats what ive told myself rather then being really worried about the procedure!!

Delain - gald to hear you have a diagnosis at least you can get treatment - i know there isnt a cure but its better to know what it is than not. I night nannied 4yrs ago for twins and the mum had MS she had to inject herself not sure what with and how far advanced she was but she was diagnosed in pregnancy also.
