Good luck Courgette xxx
I'm gutted - I've been really good with the bio-oil ec. and have found today stretch marks! Aaargh! They're right under the bottom part of my belly so hadn't noticed them before but was lying down earlier (feet swelling up again) and spotted them in the mirror. Ah well at least I can reminise with my war wounds in the future!
Feel absolutely shattered today and don't want to do anything, but sorting a kitchen cupboard out just to keep myself occupied. Also put together a tea tray - midwide recommended it for when visitors begin popping round when bump arrives and I'm back home, so they can make themselves (and me!) a cuppa.

I have been to the midwife today for my 17 week check (they couldnt fit me in last week)
The midwife I saw immediatly started to push a 'first time and young mums club' in my direction, I asked her to define young mums as i am 30 in 2 years time and on number 3. She didnt read my notes at all.
She wants to send me for another scan as she feels I am only around 13/14 weeks and not 17 (date from scan makes me 17+2)
Babies heartbeat is good and clear though.0 -
I'm 16 weeks and already the school run is killing me...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

OMW I am BORED this afternoon!!
Just figured out bubba's got hiccups..tis cute but also annoying:o
KT hope the school run improves with time:)
Lauren you should take it as a compliment, you must look fab if they think you're a young mum:D I've not had the same luck and I'm only 26:p:rotfl:
JMF tea tray is a brill idea!! *YOINK* Nicked it:D
bad news about the stretchies though:( although with them being on the under belly you can just pretend you haven't got any...this is my plan for when I eventually get them:rotfl: Can I ask what you were doing lying down in front of a mirror???? Theres a big towel over mine so I can't see myself doing a beached whale impression when getting out of bed:o

smartie's hubby is going to text me so I'll update you all but no word yet! She thought it would be later on in the day as there was a scan this am.
Mum has been a star again, we've done more baby washing, and packed 4 underbed storage boxes with larger clothes, nappies, excess cotton wool etc. DH has got a second interview for a new job which is good news I think. Pizza exp tonight with my mum and mil, should be nice. I am going to feel v lonely when she goes. In a min she's going to cut and paint my toenails as I can't get to them now.
Scan tomorrow, feel a bit nervous, not sure why!
RLT - I meant to start at 34 weeks but only drank about 2 cups, keep forgetting. Must have one in a bit, though if I find out I'm having section tomorrow I'll obviously stop!
ETA can't believe I forgot to say...GOOD LUCK COURGETTEMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Thanks Fuzz, I can't see it getting any easier though... Unless I can find someone to drop her off for me lol...
It was easier last time because my friend's son used to get dropped off 10mins before our girls finished school so she would put him straight in her car and come round and pick me up, then she would wait in the car while I fetched the girls from school... But now his bus drops him off later so she can't do that now... I'll have to work something out, I don't think I'll be able to walk up the hill when I'm full term...
I'm really hoping I'll pass my driving test and have a car by then too though... Don't know if I'd be brave enough to drive the chaos around the school though!
In other good news though, my other friend used to mind her neice on a tuesday but doesn't any more so she's able to pick us up and take us to toddler group which is great because that's even further away than the school!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
