This looks good. I have just emailed to see if they would offer discounts for bulk purchase through my children's school.
I wonder if some 'small' adults might benefit from these too.7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0 -
deanos wrote:Folks please please please dont go out and buy seats without checking they are suitable for your vehicle and the size/weight of your child , your seat could suffer from buckle crunching and would not work in a crash, booster seats wil be ok the type thats justa piece of plastic im talking about the actual large seats that are strapped into the car
'Buckle Crunch' is the most common problem. This is when the buckle of the three-point seat belt is resting against the frame of the child car seat. In a crash the buckle might break or snap causing the child car seat to come loose. With buckle crunch it maybe that the seat belt is not the correct length for the child car seat. The way to resolve this is to either have your seat belts changed or to change car seats.
This is so, so important. I have seen so many of my children's friends in poorly fitted car seats. Sometimes it has been ignorance and if I have mentioned it they have been mortified but on more than one occaision, they just don't seem to care - b!**!y terrifying. Some of the nursery catchment area was decidedly dodgy and (without meaning to cause offence) it was an intellligence thing but the scary thing is the caviller attitude of some of my more qualified acquaintances.7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0 -
