    friend's daughters aged 11 who is chubby (another word for overweight) and will not feel comfortable on a booster chair. is she exempt???

    friend is having difficulty finding booster chairs. told her to get it weeks ago but like others ignored me. seen her on the road with the daughter crouched low
    Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems :( Well at least i learn something on the way :D

    'Buckle Crunch' is the most common problem. This is when the buckle of the three-point seat belt is resting against the frame of the child car seat. In a crash the buckle might break or snap causing the child car seat to come loose. With buckle crunch it maybe that the seat belt is not the correct length for the child car seat. The way to resolve this is to either have your seat belts changed or to change car seats.

    This is so, so important. I have seen so many of my children's friends in poorly fitted car seats. Sometimes it has been ignorance and if I have mentioned it they have been mortified but on more than one occaision, they just don't seem to care - b!**!y terrifying. Some of the nursery catchment area was decidedly dodgy and (without meaning to cause offence) it was an intellligence thing but the scary thing is the caviller attitude of some of my more qualified acquaintances.
