Hello peeps
Not been in since the school shopping trip on Thursday (still getting over it!)
The stomach bug bit back big time literally the minute we got in on Thursday so was floored with that and then had a big blue screen computer crash. French student is also 'challenging' as I think she has some 'social' problems, she is nearly 14 and we are having to teach her please and thank you, although she is obviously highly intelligent and understands what we are saying. She has also said she has NO friends at home only her sister (who apparently has lots of friends). Her sister is with another family and seems well rounded in comparison.
Have been slowly plugging away with things in the house but not necessarily from the list and this will keep me busy for a bit longer yet.
Havent caught up with thread although I had read a few pages and had replies ready to post when crashed but of course all lost now
Off I go again, lunch for the girls I think then more washing

Hullo again

Just planned on doing dailies this weekend, but for some reason I looked in my kitchen cupboards for a tin of tune, couldn't find one, so have cleaned the cupboards out and made an inventory of what's in there...I think all the cleaning products must be going to my head...
OH shocked me this morning when I said about getting my hair cut, he said I should go blonde  Never had blonde highlights before, but I might give it a go if he's paying...
Just a quick post as I need to feed bub, Greenbee the cakes look stunning! I'm making a friends wedding cake next year and I love making kids cakes, but it wont be anywhere as gorgeous as those!
See you tomorrow probably xSo, there are these boys,
They kinda stole my heart,
They call me Mummy

Afternoon all
Been to church this morning for new rectors first service, she seems very nice. Her sermon was all about forgiveness and putting past challenges and niggles behind us, very appropriate in some quarters, pity they weren't there to hear it.
Just had friends round before they go away for a few days next week.
Carpet and floors seem to be drying out nicely. I feel a bit light headed this afternoon so will take things easy but we have to go to Mr M's to get some supplies in and it's ages since we went to see DH so will go there as well, it's a lovely day so it will be nice to be there.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang

Hi!
Busy morning after I enjoyed going out last night (once I found something to wear). None of us woke up until almost 10am, then it was a mad dash to get a present/write cards, peg washing out and get DS2 ready for the party at 12. We got back about half an hour ago and he's had a great time. Had his face painted - half snow leopard and half cheetah. :rotfl:
At the moment it's still nice outside, so I'm going to have a cuppa, get some mince out of the freezer for tea and do a bit of work in the garden. I'm definitely not in decluttering mood at the moment and the garden needs it!
DH is grumpy because he was looking for some attention this am and didn't get it - can't understand the difference between a reason (too busy) and an excuse, but he's still out at the moment, anyway, and will probably nap until teatime once he's back.
Hellyboo, once you (and DH) have done with the fleas, could you send them this way, please? Got a worthy recipient here, I think.
Welcome back, Hex. Glad you had a nice time.
Valli - have a lovely time on your hols.
Have a nice Sunday, everyone. x0
