Was possibly going to be meeting greenbee today but we've not managed to arrange anything and I don't think I'm up to going into London :( much as i'd love to see her.
I didn't think you'd feel up to it somehow... photos from the cake-decorating class will be posted later for you all to see. I feel slightly sick :o

I can get my jeans on and off without undoing them!!!!!!:j:T:j:T:jYay!!!! GO ME!!!:D I've had to requisition Mr LW's spare belt in order to keep them up!:rotfl:
Congratulations. Throw out the too-big jeans asap and invest in some new ones. That way you won't accidentally put the weight back on again!

Miserable weather... I'm totally shattered, so may have an early night tonight and blitz the flying tomorrow when I will (hopefully) have a bit more energy!

Thursday ~ Master Bedroom & Landing ALL DONE

    Evening everyone.

Have had a busy couple of days. Just the dailies done yesterday. Then went to my vol job then to see mum. She has been refusing her medication for ages now. Not a new thing as when she lived in her flat I used to find tablets all over the shop. Its causing a few problems though and she is a bit unwell. So we have discussed the best way to deal with it.

Today after I finished the bedroom I had a trip into town and a mooch around the bookshops then lunch. Hoovered right through when I came back and done a bit of dot to dotting. Might have a early night as I have a bit of a headache and a stuffy nose.

AnWsMum Pleased to hear you are feeling a bit better.
    Hellyboo Hugs.
    lil_me Happy Birthday!
    vanilla Hugs.

Hugs for everyone specially Toots. Lady L and Diva.

    Tis quiet on here tonight!

    lil_me - Happy Birthday :D

LW - great news on the jeans :T

My 'Charlie Bear' arrived today - I bought her as she has my name! Those of you who 'know' me on FB and / or IRL will know that I have a fairly unusual name with an even more unusual spelling, so I was rather excited when I discovered they have one with my name. She is very cute and soft (so not at all like me :rotfl:)

Bar them from setting foot inside unless they clean up after themselves.

Washing up done... some of it from Monday :o

My excuse is that it's been a busy week with my parents down, moving OH into his new flat and trying to get some work done. Hopefully I can now get the kitchen sorted out and give the whole house a S&S to keep it in check until next weekend...

Vanilla - sounds like you need a hug. At least it's good news about your BIL.

    Happy Birthday, lil_me.

    Too much sugar?

LW - well done. I managed to lose a bit of weight before going away, but all the nice bread and the cakes in France have undone the good work. I'll start again on Monday...

Just googled her - very cute.

I've not achieved much since my last post and it wasn't a great afternoon. DS2 has had better days. :(
He's in the bath at the moment and I'm planning on having him in bed within the next half hour. As he tends to turn supper into a 3-course meal, I've got my work cut out.

I'd hoped to get his bedroom finished today, but it was in such a state that it's taking me absolute ages. Looking better, though, and I might get the bulk of it done by the end of tomorrow.

Ok, best get him out of the bath and ready for bed - then I've got the kitchen to tidy and I can read for a bit before getting ready to meet DH for a late drink. Must find some clothes, though, as I've spilled pasta sauce on these jeans.

ETA That's great news, cycling. I can't begin to imagine how worried you must be about her.

Mmmm... yup, me too. Whoops. I have been sticking to my healthy eating diet this week, and feel better. I did weigh myself in town today (no scales at home) and am not happy - but then I didn't weigh myself before the holiday. Sigh. It's a good job this is a diet that I actually like - I lost quite a bit of weight about four or five years ago, and kept it steady until all the stress of mum, eating too much chocolate, and spending too much time in the car. I will lose it, too important for my health not to, really.

It's been tiresome weather today, warm, muggy, drizzly on and off and cloudy. I didn't feel like gardening on the allotment, but DS1 and I pulled off some of the choking bindweed that's invaded from next door. I'll spray it when the wind has dropped.

I have been doing bits of decluttering in my bedroom, on and off - one bag of books gone to Oxfam, more photos relocated downstairs, and I have found out where to send the stamp collection for appraisal, so that's out this week I hope.
