I sometimes wonder if it is worse when mums become the KH.. having grown them and birthed them..

    .

Personally I think it is I never saw my mum for 3 years infact my step dad lead us to believe she had passed away personally though it was hard to deal with emotionally.

Greenbee The others have given you loads of advice just wanted to say have fun with them kids can bring great enjoyment even as a step parent:D

  • well that's done
    DW unloaded and loaded
    Wm unloaded and loaded (again:mad:)
TD unloaded and folded (contents not machine:rotfl:), reloaded
    linen room window cleaned
DS2 booted to get his room sorted
Dh arrived home so hobbled wearily behind him for 10 mins clearing up the mess left in his wake
Electrics reset several times (keeps tripping .... nothing to do with drugs:o)
    S&S kitchen

Not quite as productive as earlier sessions but a bit pooped now. Still long list to complete before we scuttle off on holiday tomorrow to sunny Cumbria. Fortunately DH took all waterproofs into work Tues where they have a large industrial washing machine and reproofed all coats and trousers ...just in case:rotfl::rotfl:.
