Just need to make sure my OH doesn't become one (because TBH if he does, he's not the kind of person I want to be with), although I'm sure that his ex will think he is whatever he does once she realises he's not having a mid-life crisis, an identity crisis, a nervous breakdown or any of the other mental issues she keeps telling him he's suffering from, and isn't actually going to go back to her ...

I've actually done some work :D not much admittedly... I've rearranged a couple of sentences. I NEED to get my act together...

Regarding Stepchildren i'd say there's a fine line between not getting involved in disiplining them and letting them walk all over you. I usually let Oh get on with it unless i'm directly involved. I'd say the balance is about right now after 6 years and the girls especially will usually come to me rather than OH if they've got a problem. It was very hard at first as Dss is a daddys boy and didn't want anyone else getting in the way. He can still get a bit funny now if he feels he's not getting enough attention. Mind you he's the same when he goes to see his Mum and has told me he hates his little Sister as she's always hanging off their Mum. I've had the "you're not my Mum, you can't tell me what to do" when i told Dsd2 not to swear .

    Hi guys

I have been away with work for a few days so couldn't post. My flying for the rest of the week is pretty simple, attack the washing I have brought back with me.

OH started back at work this week so as of next week I should be able to attempt flying again although I will need help as I have pulled a muscle in my shoulder, keep forgetting and am making it worse.

Don't know if I updated on OHs job. After all the hassle at the end of last term with no jobs, then a temporary contract and finally a 2 and a half day permanent job he was called my 2 different schools last week to work the other 2 days and one is the school he was wanting to work for anyway. He had got to like the idea of working part time but has taken on that school anyway. He is trying it on supply first to make sure he can dedicate the time to his permanent school and then they are going to make it a temporary contract so he gets more benefits from it. We figure it is better that way than sticking with his part time job then wanting to work more and no one giving him a job as he had already said no. He has loved this week so it is a much happier household than last year.

Right I have tidied up the lounge, hall and kitchen which all look far more presentable. Lots of 5 min jobs and 5 min rests to stop me feeling dizzy.

Just had lunch, now going to hoover the found floors :rotfl:

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.

But you've got the love I need to see me through.
