    Evening all

Thanks to the lovely ladies who make this thread, I will of course attempt another week although as usual probably not very successfully :D

So far have managed to declutter 1 french student at 545am, do a full days work, sort out a b*m cluttered dog in the bath, collected another french student, made, eaten and cleared away dinner and cleared up several times after Dd who has a stomach bug and is decluttering both ends while I have felt tom !!!!!! all day and managed to hang on to mine!

That of course means that everything I read (while at work) has been decluttered to a part of my brain that turns everything to mush, and my flying list has got off to a worse than normal start.

I do hope that all our lovely ladies are well and coping with the stresses of being flyladies and big hugs to Lady Liberty, Toots, MSD, to name but a few on the sick list.

Well done to all out new ladies for joining, have fun and watch out for flying fluffy mules :)

  • (((((((((((hugs)))))))))) to all the poorlies, hope LW finds some spoons, and MLB, not good news re mums partner - good that you are keeping his spirits up, thats important. Hello to all the newbies, and welcomes back from hols. Ouch to to shoe bill pigpen

Havent done any work on the kitchen today, but have given DSs room a bit of a spruce - he had loads of things in there that werent his, so they have been added to the groaning loft (which I really will declutter one day!) We washed down the radiator and skirting boards and moved a little of the furniture round and gave it a good hoover. I did a superb job of supervising DH doing this!!!

All in all a good day, but no further on painting the outside of the house. I hope the dry weather keeps up so we can get on tomorrow.

Had a great day, lots done although it doesn't seem like it.
DS1 had a great day at school (Aspergers) - so the support is still working despite the seven week off, maybe because he has the same teacher. Either way, he seems happy to go back in tomorrow.

DS2 had a great day too.

I'm just glad I didn't have to pay the £120 each for Moomins and tiddles shoes!! I still have DS2' shoes and trainers, trainers for the 2 small pinks.. they share a pair.. and I need to get at least 1 decent pair for DD1 for college.. and I said I would get Jacobs as well.. though he may get doodles until the end of September.. he doesn't walk out in the rain so they'd be fine for indoors/playgroups etc... and they have some lovely ones with thomas the tank engine on.

Then I need to start on christmas.. DD1 is done.. DS1's birthday is done. I have the 3 small pinks birthdays before christmas which I need to sort first.. and I am feeling rather poor already just thinking about it lol

Spent the weekend cleaning in OH's new flat - as it smelt of cigarette smoke and some kind of cleaning chemical that was probably meant to mask the smell! A friend lent us an industrial air cleaner, which made a difference. We spent time with my parents, DB and SiL (VERY pregnant!) on Saturday evening, stayed at my brother's on Saturday night (we'd been on a futon in the new flat on Friday, so their spare room was much appreciated!) and then went to church on Sunday and back to cleaning. I washed all the nets the landlady had left, then did the whole bedroom from ceiling to floor before moving the furniture in (we have an airbed now - most of the furniture is arriving in about a month from my parents old holiday cottage). Luckily my brother gave us supper on Sunday night, and lent us an airbed (more comfortable than the futon, but colder...).

Came home today with the laundry  as it's easier to do here... did a bit of work :o then had a romantic date at the GUM clinic - booked not long after we got together. Then B&Q for bits for the flat and rushed back home to cook supper for my parents and cousins. It did mean lots of tidying got done, the kitchen was cleaned and the hall hoovered. The DW is currently full and stuff is stacked up to go in. One load of dry washing is ready to be ironed, two more loads are on the line, and another will go in at bedtime. So we're currently clearing up/finishing up work. I have at 6.45am gym appointment tomorrow, and after work we're going back to OH's flat to put up blinds, curtain poles, curtains etc, and then going out for supper with my parents, DB & SiL (so he'll have had 4 days of my family... hopefully it won't have put him off!).

Suppose I should go and get myself sorted out for tomorrow... OH is off with his kids from Wednesday to Monday night, so I should catch up on stuff. Not sure who is going to deal with the spiders in his absence though :o
