    Kitchen done!!:D:D:D

Continuing endless amounts of washing also done, and some out on line, hopefully drying - it's very overcast again here.

I've also done half an hour gardening, including clearing up after neighbouring cats again, despite pepper dust everywhere yesterday afternoon. I'm going to look at some other deterrents, including borrowing the husky from next door:D

I bought some apricots in the hypermarket before leaving France, and I've just made four pots of apricot jam - the whole house smells divine. I just have to resist the tempation to eat it, as I'm determined to lose some of the weight that has crept on over the last three years, when I've had far too many chocolate bars and spent far too much time driving.

Right, off to declutter DD to BF's.

Love and hugs to Lady-Liberty, toots and Diva, also mummyoffive - I don't think the chiropractor is exactly a luxury is it? Back pain is debilitating, and if the chiro can help, then go. DS2 sees one regularly since he dislocated his shoulder. She was recommended by the rugby club, and is absolutely great.

Under the circumstances, it'd surely be money well spent; you can't put a price on being free of pain.
LameWolf sorry to see you are having a bad day - hope you have managed to find a few spare spoons to keep you going - maybe you need to have a quiet day and regain your strength?
Aww, thanks. *sigh* it's always the same on a Monday; I guess I tend to overdo things at the weekend, because I don't want to keep whinging that "I can't do that, I need to rest" when Mr LW's here and wanting us to do things together. Bless him, he'd be fine about it, but I'd feel guilty for putting a downer on his weekend iyswim.:o

We'll be having a quiet evening tonight, as we're taking his pal A to the pub tomorrow, and I'll need to stash a few spoons away for that.:o We taped "The Matrix Reloaded" the other night, so might sit and watch that.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

MLB - Sorry you've had such worrying news. The support you are providing will be much appreciated.

    Valli - RIP small creature

Mummyyof5 - Back pain is worth spending money on. Osteopaths are DH's therapist of choice for his back.

DD1 taken to work. She asked me if she can stay round a friend's house on Friday night. I said no as DH is leaving at 5am to drive to Cornwall with her and DS1 & 2 and I have to get myself and little ones to the bus stop by 6.45am. She was livid and is now refusing to come. I pointed out that she didn't want to stay in the house on her own Saturday night so what had changed in 2 days? I really am getting fed up with her moving the goal posts.

DH is away tonight and is ignoring my voicemail message to help me sort the above mess out. I'm really tired and need his support on this one.

2 more loads of washing done I did 5 loads on Saturday so I can't work out why I've still got 5 loads to go and I've been washing all day.

Todays list is completed as I've ironed for an hour giving a small reduction in ironing mountain and cleared my worktops.:)

Valli: speedy vibes... (ETA: sorry, hope the Valli offspring are not too upset)

no flying inside but I've been supervising my dad who is outside chopping trees down - does that count?!

  • Hello :)

I'm a newbie to the FlyLady thread although I've been knocking about on OS (on and off) for a wee while. I'm not going to read all the messages that have already been posted but will try and keep up from now on.

And I'm not coming at this from quite the same perspective as I imagine most of you are - I have a cleaner for whom I do not personally pay. Before you turn green with envy it's because I've various health things going on and can't cope with the house on my own. You do not want migraines, bipolar or sciatica, believe me!

Anyway. I'm planning to use the daily lists to organise what the cleaner (L) has to do and what I will do. But I promise not to pass her work off as my own!

    Hope that's OK with everyone?

Looks like quite a few flyladies are in need of hugs for bad news, back pain, lack of spoons, loss of a pet, awkward offspring. Hope things get better for you all soon.

DS2 and I have been blackberry picking - loads more where they've come from, so I'll be making jam soon. Tonight it will be apple and blackberry crumble, and I've also seen a recipe for an a&b crumble cake. Need to send DS1 to the shop for creme fraiche if he ever gets round to finishing his papers. We also called at the farm for fresh eggs, had a great time and found a nice spot for a picknick, next time we're out. It's by a little stream and DS2 said that it would be a good spot to come if you were angry and needed to walk away from someone to be by yourself for a bit. I can't believe he's only 6.

Right, I've had a coffee (tasted fine this time), so I'm back in the kitchen for tea/crumble and more sorting (once I've dislodged DS1 from his lair). xxx

    Hi
    Can I join you please?

Im trying desperately to get into some sort of routine with my chores :o

Ive found things really difficult the last few months as I had Brain surgery for the 2nd time in march and Im still suffering quite badly with vertigo and balance problems (tho the more moving about I do now, the better my brain will learn the new signals and hopefully my balance will get better....and I wont look and feel drunk all the time lol.;))

At the moment Im having to Iron sat down - which takes forever, as do a lot of jobs  but I think what I need is just some motivation to get me started and keep on top of things. :D
