  • Hi All,

I'm sorry, I might be interrupting. But I really need to share and maybe some of you could help in suggesting the best thing to do.

I'm very upset. I sent in the bill as per instructed for months 15 and 18, but no reply what-so-ever. I missed my first 2 months. I was promised to get a cashback of over £200, and to be paid to me 5 times accordingly. So, I have received the 3rd one. But, the thing is, I forwarded them the bill of month 15, no reply until now. I have emailed to chase the payment for sooo many times, but still no replies. This is ridiculous and I don't understand why.

I have tried to call, but the service was rubbish! I'm nearly fed up of this. But this is unfair to other new customers, if this is to go on and on in the future.

Anybody can recommend anything? I'm very upset!!! I will not recommend it to anyone.. :(

    1) Try reading all the innumrable threads about this dealer and you wouldn't either be surprised or have to ask.

    2) Send the claim (at least) recorded delivery, followed by a LBA if they don't pay - then sue. All this things are covered many times over in detail on this site - and with this dealer in particular.

    3) Don't use their on-line claims "system"; it's designed to sopt people claiming.

    4) Don't be so patient with them; if they don't respond with an email (external) claim submission, send it by recorded post and then (if still no response), LBA, then sue. I should add that if you do it properly (as opposed to following their instructions) you should be able to avoid most of that most of the time.

    i've got a deal with mobiles.co.uk

first 8 months half price line rental.

The deal is £25 a month tmobile,

    600 mins x net
    500 text
    unlimited landline
    unlimited internet (3gb fair use)

    free Samsung galaxy S.

I don't think i'll even bother attempting to get the first 8 months half price! looking at all the headache, posting of certain bills, chasing emails etc etc its probably not worth my personal time for £12.50 a month for 8 months!

I can console myself in the fact though for £25 a month paid direct to t-mobile, there are no deals which beat the above on the market. Period.

So if you must use them, get the best tarif you can (the above was very well hidden on site, due to low profit margins i'd guess) and buy the deal on the merit of the monthly cost without any redemptions. That way you can never be dissapointed :D
  • £12.50 x 8 months = £100. I'd say that's worth at least trying to follow the cashback process for.
If I've helped you please show your appreciation by using the "Thanks" button

I'll spend my personal time if you want and put in the correct claims (just email me the bill). This money then could be given to charity - there must be lots of charities crying out for £100 donations. Much better giving it to a worthy cause than to let the merchant profit for an advertised deal, especially this one. ;)

    Just let me know.

    Thanks Lynsey!

I'm still waiting for a reply to an email regarding the cashback, as i've received the phone from them, a dispatch note and nothing else!

Fallen at the first hurdle it seems :rotfl:

i've done a few casshbacks with CPW and mobiles.. not really many problems. Altho each time i record what the offer was (screenshot of their website(saving it to a MS word document and emailing it to myself (keeping the time stamps). Then i setup the dates for the redemptions in my outlook calendar and then do it with enough time. If after 14 days i dont receive any money i chase it...

And i always send it recorded delivery back to them as i have proof...

Which is the best deal between these?

Orange Dolphin 25 (Samsung Galaxy S clearance)
    (24 months)
    300 mins Any
    Network Anytime + Unlimited Texts
    500MB Data
    £25.00 10 months FREE

    600 Mins Any
    Network Anytime + 500 Texts
    + Unlimited web browsing
    £25.00 13 months 1/2 price

    So the T-mobile one costs (25x24) -(12.5*13) - £50 quidco= £387.5 or £16.14 a month
    And the Orange one costs (25x24) - (25*10) - £50 quidco = £300 or £12.50 a month

As both T-mobile and orange can use one anothers networks, if it worth paying 87 quid more for 300 more mins and more browsing (guess its 1gb of data).

Probably it is... as sometimes go over 300 mins.
