Thanks for that - that's a brilliant deal - it's trying not to open them before Christmas that's the challenge in our house!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Xmas preparations have finally started in this House - had all my fruit etc soaking overnight to make my Xmas Cake, puds and Mincemeat today - I love Xmas and I love all the build up and prep before hand too - bring it on.:xmassmile
I've decided to do Hampers/Mugs etc for as many people as I can this year as I've had an Allotment since last December so been able to make Jam/chutney. Been able to pick up some really nice Hampers and Xmas mugs from Charity shops for reasonable prices - even managed to get a really nice one which was brand new and lined with really nice material and it was only £1. Well worth checking out.
Also found they are good for books as you can get some in almost "brand new" condition. They also seem to always have loads of little bottles of toiletries which are a perfect size for wrapping in a New facecloth and putting in a Xmas mug. Also picked up a couple of nice Jigsaw puzzles still wrapped in cellophane for a £1 each - these are so expensive in the Shops.
I'm a real bargain hunter but it really pays off at this time of year. Good luck with your preparations everyone.;)"WASTE NOT, WANT NOT!"GC for OH, myself, DD18 & DD16 includes Toiletries, cleaning stuff & Food.

Last week I saw that our local discount store has their christmas stock in. They have big boxes of Jacobs crackers for cheese (dated End Jan 2011) for £1, also big bags of individually wrapped biscuits for packed lunches for a £1 also. So I will be stocking up on those.
I really want to make DD a Christmas stocking this year, I will be attempting to make this:

from Kirsty Allsops programme last year. I have some offcuts of material to use up and I might try and personalise it with her name embroidered on it too.Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set

Got 2 more presents from our Arts & Crafts Fair on Sunday; and one with my Lakeland order.
Bought a birthday present too - November is terrible for birthdays!
Thinking of making a Christmas Cake this year - Grandma's recipe - haven't done it for a couple of years - have a cake board in the cupboard ready.
Going to put a foodie hamper together for my Mum and Dad - done this before, but not for a couple of years as Dad hasn't had much appetite. Will start to get bits in my next big shop. Going to do a photo in a frame for Dad of me and him at my Wedding earlier in the year - just need to find a nice frame - don't know what to buy him these days.Mortgage Free x 1 03.11.2012 - House rented out Feb 2016
