    Now i understand 'The Scream'
The anguished roar inside my head
The tears that roll down my cheeks, that nobody can see
The silent sob, and anguished cry that no one else can hear
The joy of Birth the pain, of Grief,
    Yes now I understand xxxo
Thanks to all OPs:AThe Real Chris

Have ordered 3 Xmas presents already this morning so not wasting this cold weather. Gritters haven't made it up into our street but once you get onto the main road there is nothing there which makes it so annoying that the Newcastle area is so bad. OH said it really wasn't worth the risk trying to get to N. Shields when the TV showed it as being so bad. Had a few drinks to drown my sorrows last night and dd was quite upset too. Wonder if Eviledna is managing to make it - she was going today too but she hasn't been here for ages. If we had been near a railway station we would have tried that but Carlisle is 60 miles from here - will never know now if we made the right decision! Thanks for all the huggs everyone.

Awww sheils - sorry to hear about you missing out on your trip. I live in Newcastle and the snow here has been really bad and the state of many of the roads is terrible. I'm dreading getting to work tomorrow and it's only a half hour drive  I think you definitely made the right decision. It would have been a very long way to travel in such awful weather. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a nice win for you soon xxx

By the way thanks for posting that Radley comp in the postal section. That would be my dream win :A

  • Evening everyone :)

No comps entered today :( When will things ever calm down?!
I suddenly crave toast...can't think why!

My Bliss Nail Varnish turned up yesterday. A lovely chocolate brown colour on my nails :)
Redundancy isn't fun - comping is!
