    Hi everyone,

There seems to have been a lot of fun going on in here last night. I wasn't about as we have used to many gigs on the internet and had one extra charge already - let kids spend my i-tunes voucher and ds got as many tracks for his money as poss. Should have made sure he downloaded at night when its free. Supposed to go onto 60g on the 2nd but Plus Net seems to be making a mess of it and had forgotton to charge me for the last 3 months too.
Really gutted about the weather - cancelled our mini cruise yesterday as we decided it was to risky to travel. Have lost £60 that we paid for a dinner on board too so really upset.
Hope everyone else being luckier than me.
Sorry your washing machine is playing up fin. I have used Zannusi ones for over 20years and they have never broken down with me yet. One did start to leak but it was 9 years old, the second went to my nephew and is still working away at about 6 and the third is still doing hard labour with us.

I hate to say it but we have a Bosch (german) we have had it for 10 years now without any problems at all

when washing machines break down the first thing to check are the fuses if they are Ok then check that all wire connections are secure in the plug and the washing machine

if the fuses and wiring are OK then check the belt on the machine sometimes they can come loose and slip off or deteriorate and break

next check the motor for any signs of burning by sniffing it if there are any signs of burning it's time to bite the bullet and buy a new washer

it might be that you have a blockage in and around the pump area or the pump has broken and needs replacing pumps are not very expensive and are quite easy to replace

hope some of this helps fin if you need any further advice please PM me ;)

Thanks amilucky - its the heat relay unit that has gone & the part costs £90 - only had the machine about 4 years - I probably could fit the part myself but as the girls are saying on here washing machines aren't as expensive as the used to be a probably worthwhile just buying new - putting it off as the kick plate needs to be removed from my kitchen to get it out & then I will need to regrout the area where the kickplate was also they stopped making my colour of grout & I need to mix it from 2 different colours to get it right - oh happy days!!
