Oooh luvverly Korky
my sentiments entirely
many thanks!!0 -
I blame it all on the cough medicine;)
Worked though Korky - no sign of a cold this am
Can I have a round of toast with mine?:D0 -
Thanks amilucky - its the heat relay unit that has gone & the part costs £90 - only had the machine about 4 years - I probably could fit the part myself but as the girls are saying on here washing machines aren't as expensive as the used to be a probably worthwhile just buying new - putting it off as the kick plate needs to be removed from my kitchen to get it out & then I will need to regrout the area where the kickplate was also they stopped making my colour of grout & I need to mix it from 2 different colours to get it right - oh happy days!!
If you have had the washing machine for 4 years then you probably would be better of replacing it
a word of warning about buying cheap washing machines though sometimes you get what you pay for and it can be a false economy
we had a cheap one that we paid £150 for and it only lasted 2 years the rubber door seal went first and then the motor burned out paid £600 for our present one and it is still going strong without any problems at all
having said this just watch, it will probably break down next week0 -
Have ordered 3 Xmas presents already this morning so not wasting this cold weather. Gritters haven't made it up into our street but once you get onto the main road there is nothing there which makes it so annoying that the Newcastle area is so bad. OH said it really wasn't worth the risk trying to get to N. Shields when the TV showed it as being so bad. Had a few drinks to drown my sorrows last night and dd was quite upset too. Wonder if Eviledna is managing to make it - she was going today too but she hasn't been here for ages. If we had been near a railway station we would have tried that but Carlisle is 60 miles from here - will never know now if we made the right decision! Thanks for all the huggs everyone.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
