Expect the 99p shop was where Woolworths used to be - will look out for it. Still 6 weeks to go. Its an even longer drive from Scotland!

OMG I never noticed your location, Thats a LONG way. Yeah the 99p shop is where the old Woolies was. :D

Right logging off now, cos sadly I am back at work tomorrow :(

What I didnt get to do, which was recommended by a local (but on my last day) was to get a ferry over to Dartmouth, as Dartmouth is supposed to be amazing.

Darmouth is a pretty little town on the edge of the River Dart, full little boutique type shops, and resturants, but other than that and the boat trips I've never found much else there to be honest.

You can get a Round Robin trip from Paignton which is steam train, boat and tour bus, its nice if you like sightseeing and cruising a long in a boat etc.....my kids were a bit young to appreciate it and got a tad bored.

We have done the steam train part. The train went right beside our caravan at Waterside and the kids were young enough to wave to all the passengers. OH loves steam trains but can't see him persuading kids to go this time!
