Wingo - I used to be like that - I hated anyone coming to our door as we use our side door which opens into our kitchen - It was over 30 years old - I threatened to stop cleaning it

I tried going on strike fin, didn't work. Even the spiders are too embarrassed to build a web in our kitchen!

Hi, just been thinking you could try telling OH this - from 1st Jan VAT goes up 2.5% so for every £1,000 you spend on kitchen it will cost you an extra £25 which is about a years interest on £1,000 saved. Might be worth a try if he hasn't thought about that.

Good Morning all. I'm back! (did anyone even notice I was gone!?>):rotfl: Kids loved camping but hubby and I need a break to recover. Thankfully I'm off to champneys next month courtesy of a ver kind mse'er. Our little holiday was great and made even better by the fact it was a win. Couldn't believe how close it was to where Derrick Bird killed himself. After seeing the area and the tiny roads I can't believe more people weren't killed. Very sad I've tried to catch up on the last few days in the inn. You're all a bunch of nutters and hello to the newbies.

Tulip - Glad you got your new PC it should help you with your comping and get lots of wins.
Ratgirl - Happy Belated birthday and your wedding dress sounds fab. I wish now that I'd chosen purple rather than white.
