Afternoon everyone. Been gardening again and shopping. Food just doesn't seem to last in this house. I'm going to find some comps to do now. Did my favourite daily ones at about 7.30am!
Just had to make mad dash to postbox to post comp entries - don't usually do postal ones but giving it a try this week.

    Hi all

Happy anniversary Mr & Mrs Korky & Happy Birthday Mr Korky

Hope the kids enjoy their time at the park wingo and that work goes well tomorrow.

My grandkids don't go back til next Monday although the elder ones go in for a couple of hours on Friday to get their timetables etc.

My eldest DGD passed her GCSE that she took early with a grade C. She was really ill when she took it too & wasn't at school for the whole of the week, just went in to do the exam. It will be a busy uear for her this year as she sits all the other GCSE's she's doing.

The youngest dgd starts proper school in September but only part time until October when she'll be 5.

Looks as if everyone is very busy today.

Hope you are all having some luck.

    Hi All

Happy Anniversary to Mr & Mrs Korky and Mrsd - your wedding dress is stunning.

First day back at work today and it was too annoying to put into words so all I can make is a noise - Grrrrrrrr!!!

Also.... the only part of DDs school uniform not yet purchased is a couple of black pleated skirts as I thought these would be easy but have tried various Tescos, Asdas, Sainsburys and have struggled.

So... I went into a uniform shop near work in my lunch half hour today to buy one, knowing it would be a bit dearer but thought I could get one just to get get DD sorted for the first day at least. Asda price = £6-7, I expected uniform shop to = £10-£15. I came to pay and for one very normal average skirt for an 11 year old it was..... £29.25

I paid it as I was too embarrassed not to, but I am kicking myself now that I didnt just leave it.
    Aims for 2014
Drink a glass of water a day, Empty handbag at least once a week, Continue "not putting things off" and tackle things head on, Treasure people around me, Stay healthy and well away from hospitals, Continue to declutter/decorate house slowly and not get stressed because I can't do everything at once. :D
