Edit: I've just posted the Omega one, but will wait for a response before doing the others! I would like to post these, so if it's OK, hopefully someone else won't beat me to it!!

I think they are not posted as the format has changed recently to the same as "Pick me Up" did last year.They are viewed as spammy on here plus there is no guarantee that anyone at all will actually win.Not for me but cheers for the effort.

hi, yep, but all it says on the guide is
Win 4 Now , might be helpful if it was added after with the 'whatsontv' for newbies etc,

I have come across this website (www.competitionresource.co.uk) upon googling. Whoever is running it appears to be stealing competitions from MSE. :mad:

Competitions are posted on MSE for the benefit of MSE users and shouldn't be copied onto other sites so please whoever is running that site find your own competitions. People put in a lot of hard work and effort to find competitions and post them on this site and they deserve the gratitude for doing so.

Aside from the timings of competitions being posted the other tell-tale signs were the text used. Lakshmi posted a competition here for Rose Bowl tickets and it seems strange that the single line of text used by Lakshmi in their post is the same as the one used on that website. Also for the MTV awards competition that I posted here, they have copied my line of text "You need to be available from Saturday 6th November to Monday 8th November". I wrote this line myself, and it does not appear like this anywhere on the competition, so they must have stolen it from MSE.

Sorry, rant over, but it infuriates me so much.

Finally I strongly advise people against using that particular website. All competitions are free to access on MSE, but don't appear to be on that site.

That site seems to be offering the same as Julie Louise's did, It needs reporting to abuse as there is a copyright issue xxxx

Seems very quite on the competition front today. I usually find around 30-50 new comps a day that interest me. I must have only entered 10 today total. Most unusual.

yep, mine's been on & off, maybe they're tweaking ready for the upgrades this afternoon
