Ah, well you didn't say that they hadn't ended, that puts an entirely different slant on it.

What I meant was, if they had ended, they wouldn't need to read your email to see if the answer was correct, it wouldn't matter if they had already drawn a winner.

Personally I wouldn't put a 'read receipt' on email comps, regardless when they end the person will probably have upto (if not more than) 1000 entries so why would they want to read them all? Simply send your entry & hope for the best.

Just because they don't send a read receipt, does not mean the email has not been read. I use outlook at work and the preview pane allows me to read the email without having to send a read receipt. The person reading your emails is probably doing this as well. They probably take your details, input them somewhere else and then delete your email.

Please can someone identify the problem. When I enter some comps I get a "unable to do that action from MSE" Does anyone else get the same???

Yes, sometimes when I hit the thanks button followed quickly by the enter button I get that.

I think you just need to make sure you wait until each click has succeeded....
