I use the thanks and enter, i also thank if i dont enter, my way of saying thank you for finding the comp

i like to see lots of green ticks

I am wondering if someone can help me - I am probably being a bit dense

I tend to enter the competitions by using the advance search and searching by end date. This works for all dates apart from the when the day is the same as the month (eg 07/07, 08/08, 09/09 etc) as it brings up everything in that month.

I use the format "09/09" or "E: 09/09" in the search box - am I doing something wrong?

UPDATE I have worked out how to do it by sorting the whole thread by end date

I'm both thanking and using the enter button, I'd like to think everyone was doing both, it doesn't take long at all, it's not like when you click expired and it goes to another page and then back to the thread! Thankfully the expired button isn't needed too often!

That got me thinking, I view each thread (at least) twice, I was wondering if other people do the same? That could account for the high number of views to thanks.

I open all the threads I want to enter, bookmark all of them in bulk and then sort the bookmarks into groups of 30 to go through and enter, so they're opened when I bookmark them and then opened when I go through to enter them.

I thank each one I open and read and press enter too even if i've not entered so I know i've already looked at it, a bit daft I know but it helps me so I know not to look at that particular comp again.
