i'm still waiting on my dispatch email. i wonder how they decide who to send them out to first? hope its not by surname as mine is 'S' it wouldn't be by location would it? i'm on the south coast.
i'm not home this weekend so at earliest it'll be next week for me

I don't think its by surname (or first name) as mine starts with M (and my first name with S); and I got my email today.
Perhaps its on a first come first serve basis?

No, I ordered a black one, unlocked and sim free for £419, post free! Envy? , no, not me. I`m genuinely pleased that someone has come up trumps.
I`m now in the process of signing up with Neilsons so I can get a free N9 (with meego), and am cancelling the N8.

I have to go now, as my tears are shorting out the keyboard:mad::mad::mad:

Morning folks. Had a good play with it last night (oooo errr Mrs). DHL don't deliver on a saturday from some offices so don't hold your breath. Can't believe I am the only one to get theirs???
It's fast! Very tactile on the on the hand, much like the new samsungs. Found a couple of little niggles already. Bluetoothed pics etc from my n 97 and in the bluetooth message there was no option to save? seemed a bit odd unless it's just me. 3 home screens flip and move easily, but I doubt I would use 3 so why waste resources on the phone?? If someone wants to pm me an email addy I'll send over the pic and possibly they could post for me??
Played the tron trailer from the HDMI lead supplied on on my sony 40" BRILLIANT QUALITY!!! (looks crap film but superb playback). Took a couple of pic and again resolution on the 40" screen is magnificent and I dont use that word a lot!
My main concern is the flimsy lids for the sim card and memory card. Ok when in place but scared to move them when changing cards over. I bust my daughters sony the first day she had it putting a card in and these feel much the same. HDMI cover feels a bit more robust. All in all I am very happy.
Freddie, Its a good bit of kit, and the black is a lovely shade of gun metal /black if you get my drift.
More later, better get some work done!

Update......Just had my first freeze using the radio in scan mode. Had to switch off which did not respond quickly, In normal circumstances I would ripthe battery out which is not an option.
Under security there is now a time lock setting where you can set it to password lock if not used within a time that you set. Useful for me, but might not matter to others. Also there is no manual as such, only a quick start booklet..........
