he he 'pile of carp' :D We did have two cars because we couldnt get youngest to nursery without both. However, one broke down last month and we decided to take it off the road and she has left nursery now. We reckon its gonna save £1K a year which will help.

The trouble with cars is I just dont know when Im being ripped off when they go wrong.

  • I've done all the veg etc for tomorrow's dinner and there's a summer pudding setting in the fridge.

DD2 been down and borrowed stock cubes and a frying pan for their dinner. Did think I might be invited but obviously not.
  • Summer pudding, yum.

You should ask to go Bookie...My MIL gets upset with us all the time and we dont know why-I just wish if she wanted to come round, have tea etc she would SAY so we weren't constantly trying to guess what the problem is. Its very difficult because we do not ever MEAN to upset her but apparently we do. Its upsetting really because I havent got any of my own family here and would love to be closer to them.

  • I'm not saying thats what you do, I just mean, invite yourself round ;)

I would never mind at all if my MIL did.

Right - I've split the bear clothes 3 ways for B, F and J - they'll be with you soon.

I'm really glad we don't have a car anymore, we're coping just fine without it. I allow "travel" in our budget and it's less than we used to pay in insurance. Does help that DD's bus passes are £50 each for the entire year, they can use them anywhere in the county.

Thats the one big drawback of moving where we did 7 years ago, there is literally 1 bus an hour and you can only get to the closest town. Our village has a church, school, village hall and a pub........thats it.

Neither me nor OH could get to work without the cars, or DS2 to school for that matter. A couple of years ago I tried to convince OH to move somewhere with better transport links but he said that we will manage.

Most of the time I love it here but it does get to you when we seem to be constantly forking out for cars. I guess you cant have everything.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

BB-have you taken any more photos?

well, there's one you saw recently ;) and I took my weekly front/side one today.

Sally...........I have the weymouth photos and there's one in particular I am keeping in with my progress photos as it makes me go _pale_ every time I see it....there's still such a long way to go though I would rather wait until it was an OMG  reaction rather than a 'well I can see you've lost a bit' reaction. Perhaps in another couple of stone ;) Should hit 4 stone (ie next weekend if not this) verrrrrrrrrrrry soon :D
