the problem I have with trousers is my waist being proportionately too small so stuff hangs off the waist if the rest 'fits' but is too tight on the bum/hips if they fit on the waist. The pair I have are stretchy and elasticated but even the elastic waist is too big now.

I've emailed the local womens' refuge in Poole to ask if they want some of my clothing that's too big for women who come to them. I want to keep a couple of bits to show how far I've come (stuff I used to virtually live in) I might keep a couple of bits for ebay, then the 'tired' stuff for the oxfam recycling bin and then the majority of the rest I am going to see if they want. There's some really nice bits (some not even worn!) and I'd like it to go to someone with an immediate need if possible. See what they say, they might not take donations, I don't know.

Just got back from hols. I thought I had saved up enough and then clutch went on car which cost £500 (had to get it done as we were towing a caravan) then two days later something else went wrong on car and I had to put all that on credit card.:(

We did thanks. One great thing is we didnt have a telly so we played family games, read, talked and did all the things a TV stops you doing and...I suppose the car clutch may have gone anytime. Made me realise I need a car maintenance fund.
